While grinding for an Astro using Weld and Safety, I was being too clever and tried to scroll both sides of the breeding station at once. Misclicked the breed button and ended up with stupid caterpillar....ARGHHH...and still no Astro! Ah yes, the Crystal of Gizmonauts. My sympathies. |

I have a friend in my list with three astro stations, two filled with astro. There are a grav ad magnet breeding, assume that will be the third astro bot!

I have given up using welder/safety for Astro. Now I'm trying carrier/microscope so that maybe I'll at least get some of the science bots I'm missing. I was fortunate to get microscope immediately although I was hoping to get magnet so I could clear that goal that I've had for days. It's funny how different bots/dragons elude some of us!

Conga rats on astro number two! Be careful of Debstoy coming to your park, though. Rather than speeding it up, she might steal it. She is very sneaky! Also, watch out for Mishkasmom. I once saw her steal a paper dragon from Tommy's park without him even realising he got one. Don't tell anyone that I did tell you. I promised to keep it quiet after a small incentive.

That stinks that you can't breed limited bots after they expire. I like a lot of the features they added in GN compared to DV but this is definitely not one of them. I suppose it will really only come into play if they add displays like the eggs in DV.

Wahoo!!! Level 23 and finally got my astro bot!! What happened to the thread last bot standing? I thought it was a competition. Did everyone else get their astro bot? Did I win? It sure took me long enough. I didn't think I was ever going to get it.

No Astro for me yet, and I'm about to hit level 20. I'd been doing Safety/Welder faithfully until recently, now I've switched to Grav/Magnet for more cash. I figure once I get to level 20 or so (whenever large science zones are unlocked) I will get off the grind and start mixing things up a bit.

Have updated the OP (and www.gizmonautscommunity.com/ you should check it out). If breeding works the same way as in DV, meaning you have a set % success rate for breeding limited/rare bots and it is not affected by number of possible fails, then adding Builder and Performer to the mix will give you an average fail time of 8 hours 48 minutes. Grinder/Carrier + Harvester/Flower or Mole/Caterpillar + Hammer/Beat should get the job done with the least amount of fuss. |
