Have updated the OP (and www.gizmonautscommunity.com/ you should check it out). If breeding works the same way as in DV, meaning you have a set % success rate for breeding limited/rare bots and it is not affected by number of possible fails, then adding Builder and Performer to the mix will give you an average fail time of 8 hours 48 minutes.
Grinder/Carrier + Harvester/Flower or Mole/Caterpillar + Hammer/Beat should get the job done with the least amount of fuss.
I should have paid attention to this instead of using Nature + Mining--2 moles & now a caterpillar AND stuck on "buy or Breed another Geo bot." Speed-ups are GREATLY appreciated!

Conga rats on astro number two! Be careful of Debstoy coming to your park, though. Rather than speeding it up, she might steal it. She is very sneaky! Also, watch out for Mishkasmom. I once saw her steal a paper dragon from Tommy's park without him even realising he got one. Don't tell anyone that I did tell you. I promised to keep it quiet after a small incentive.
I wish this was possible because Id have a paper and blue moon dragon. It's not stealing - it's reallocating.

Stealth is the answer for stealing dragons. Lol. So I forgot to delete my builder bot last time so now I get to breed and deploy a caterpillar. Puh I say.

I need someone to come build me an Astro bot. It's apparent that my Welder and Safety bots are impatent. Not sure which is the male (although I suspect it's the Welder) but one or both of them just aren't getting the job done.

Any 2 hybrids can get your an Astro. I got one breeding Spray + Spray.
So funny that post after post is about obtaining a second astro bot. I have totally dedicated my breeding to using the carrier aloe combo for nearly 3 weeks without success. No shortage of catapilar safety or aloe bots in my realm. I will hit it eventually I assume. Thanks to debsiphone and all others who visit me daily to speed up my progress GCID. Badcall
If you're focused on the astro, I would suggest magnet+grav or safety+welder. We believe the Astro bot is a low percentage chance from each breeding of two hybrids (probably just 1%), so the quick breeding times from those will let you try much more often. Carrier(B/M)+Aloe(N/S) gives you the dreaded Caterpillar and Mole fails, which can leave you only trying once per day.
You are so welcome badcall. Thanks for the crystals and speed ups you do to my park as well. I have a caterpillar breeding there so a boost to that will be appreciated. Then Safety + Welder is for you. Builder/Repair hybrids.
Now if only I could get an Astro. My goodness, I'm level 26 and no luck yet with Safety/Welder.
Any 2 hybrids give you the chance at an Astro. Have got 2 of mine with Spray + Spray, you just never know. Might try something different, just for a change.

Same here. I didn't get my first Astro until level 26, then Lady Luck striked and I got three more before level 33, all from Safety+Welder. I only mix up for more Carrier/Grinder for new Mining zones, or Grav/Magnet at night.
Well, it's good to know I'm not the only one who has lasted so long without an Astro. I hope my luck changes soon!
