Well, I am finally done. I decided to make it my goal to complete all my goals before January 1st, and I made it. I am including a picture of my finished outpost, because you cannot see my finished goals by visiting. gdan73 and shernea220, I won't be going in to gizmos anymore. After all, I don't want to mess up what I worked so hard to achieve.

Thanks wapatango and GregDarcy for all the crystals. I'll continue playing until I fill my station up with Epics. Which at this rate is going to take a while. 2 nukes and 2 thermals thus far.
The kids like going in and doing the fights so I let them do it most of the time
My Subconscious: You've created a new GCID to make a new DragonVale park exclusively populated by level 1 dragons? You should do the same thing in Gizmonauts.

You should! The game is dead, but I absolutely loved it. It was similar enough to DV to get me hooked but it was different enough to be its own entity. I could go on and on about it, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Oh yeah, hive it a try. You won't be able to get the limited bots (and really, BFS, how hard would it be to cycle update the rules 4 or 5 times a year?!) but it's a fun game to play through to completion. If you do play, send a friend request to Fletch_smf2 my new account and I'll exchsnge crystals with you and speed up breedings. It's a lot more interactive with other players than DV is.

Also, you don't get new islands, but from level 9 on you can buy 3 new tiles to expand your outpoust. You can check out the available tiles and how you might expand your outpost at gizmonauts.wikia.com/wiki/Expansions

It is worthwhile waiting for your goals to refresh before you send a crystal. They refresh every two hours or so. There are three goals at a time. Two reward you with DC. The third will give you a crystal. It has been a long time since I played, but from memory gifting friends and winning battles get you crystals. Levelling up, buying decorations and breeding get you RB (=DC)
In the early part of the game winning battles is difficult as you want high level Bots to win, but keep trying and the opponents become easier. THere is a definite hierarchy to the winning strategy, but as with the colosseum luck always plays a part. As with DV, the early levels are a scramble for cash and food.

Thanks GD. That's an important tip. If you can visit multiple times a day, then gift or expand your outpost just once, then when you return you will be rewarded again. Essentially you can earn a heap of crystals a day, and friends can speed up breeding and building for you so spending them was not nearly as necessary as in DV. We think this is part of the reason this game wasn't as profitable, and therefore became abandoned.

Fletch, I've gone to your park a few times but couldn't speed anything up - never saw a timer icon. Is there something I need to do?

I just gotthemessage that you sped up my breeding, so it seems that you are. If you see anything with a progress bar, it will generally have a little clock type icon above it.
I see you have the nature element. Now you get some long breed times. Just took 4 hours off what ever you are breeding.

I didn't see the clock icon but did click on your breeding zone. Hope it worked. I'll zoom in next time I go in to see if I can see it there. I assume I can only speed one thing a day for an individual... please let me know if that's wrong!
