How do you get a snowflake dragon to begin with - only combos I see are snowflake to snowflake
There will be a 5th snowflake during the event. You'll be able to exchange tickets for it. Then you can use the cooperative breeding cave to breed it with a friend's snowflake and try to get the others.
Yes,Mathis is the only way to get the snowflake dragons if you missed them in the event. Koala

Don't know if anyone has been on DV since its changed events in the faire, but the 2 nd and 5 the snowflake are available to buy with tickets. If u buy 5th, and breed with first, u may save the trouble of buying the other. Use tickets for other things. But, says breeding had expired, so...Idk what's best to do! Lol

Or breed your first with someone else's fifth in the coop cave, until you get a second.
Hey ladypyro1, at any point during the year (except BEB), there are 2 gemstone dragons available: a monthly and a quarterly gemstone. The gemstone for April is Diamond, which requires Mine and Ice as its breeding combo. The current quarterly gemstone is Lapis, which is available from mid-March to mid-May (strangely only 2 months); its breeding combo is Thunder and Sandstorm.
Crystalline dragons also provide gems instead of DC, and basically function identically to gemstone dragons, so you might want to try for them as well. The only difference is that they can only go into crystalline habitats instead of gemstone habitats. The current crystalline is Quartz, which requires Lava and Luminous.
Bloodstone has created a comprehensive calendar of limited releases over here, so you should definitely take a look at it to see the breeding combos for the other gemstone dragons! That way, you can make sure you have the required dragons before the gemstone enters the market.

I have not played for a couple of years and now back in the game... but I am confused by some of the breeding - Have most of the galaxy dragons from coop breeding, but have noticed that some of my friends have put up dragons like Ire, Surprise and Pharaoh. IS it possible to get these through breeding with them? Sandbox seems to suggest yes, but the dragonarium says that they not available at this time? Don't really want to waste my time trying if not even possible.

Hi scispider! The dragons you've mentioned are epic dragons, which means that yes, they are breedable in the co-op cave. The only exceptions for epics would be Snowflakes and Monoliths; for these you'll need a Snowflake or Monolith respectively to breed more. The sandbox should give you the information you need when deciding which dragons to use in the co-op cave to try for the epics you're after.
