Sadly, the simulator is correct. LYD+RB gives about a 10/90 split.

I have bred 2 LYD's as fails trying for the APOC in the EBC... I am using ironwood /storm.

Got my 2nd LYD breeding and a second Lichen so I can try for Apoc with Magnetic. Also really hoping for Solstice.

I have used well over 500 gems, and still no 2nd LYD I've got 2 blue moons, and another 2 suns brewing. I'm gna change my second breeding pair to ironwood/storm. The other will remain as lichen/storm.

If your focus is the Leap Year dragon, why are you putting in combinations that can give such long fails? I'm going with flower+current (for LYD and Love) after trying firefly+rain (LYD or Butterfly) for a while.

Thanks Darian for those combos. I've been trying for the apocalypse too but would rather have the LYD if I have to make choices. Hopefully I will still have time to get apocalypse when the limiteds go away on the 2nd.

Well they are two different combos, as the first is fire, cold, lightning and plant and the second is fire, water, lightning and plant. Without the Cold in the second combo you eliminate Moon, Sun and Blue Moon as fails.

I was beginning to lose hope, finally have a Leap Year on the island, parents are Firefly & Seaweed. Had been using Firefly/Storm. Thank goodness daughter set me straight. Trying for 2nd Apocalypse & 2nd Leap year with Magnetic/Lichen. Got 1st Apoc with this combo, but 2nd is really hard to get.

Will ability to purchase Apocalypse habitat disappear when Apoc dragon leaves on Jan 9?

Nice you are finally getting some good breeds, congrats!

Everybody knows BFS will do the exact opposite of what I predict. It is the first time a dragon that has its' own hab is limited. Stands to reason it will also be gone, but here has been no word from BFS at this time. We just don't know.

Well I got my first solstice bred and grown and now, breeding him with a lunar has gotten my second solstice breeding i'm working on equinox and got firework, and my first shrine turned Silver the other day.. Fire from all the lava fails i've had lately. Erm.. Yeah, hoping for Paper, what would you suggest?

We noticed earlier, when BFS rereleased all the limited for Christmas, that apposites were gone from the market. But you can still breed them. Just a weird glitch.

I have 1 LYD and 1 Blue Moon. I know if I want a 2nd LYD I have to breed it before 1/2/13. Does this hold true if I want a 2nd Blue Moon?

No. Blue Moon can be bred with another limited, like Equinox, for a 50/50 shot at it at any time. We assume the same will hold true for LYD when another Rainbow limited is released.
