Jade will be around until the end of the month. My guess is Liberty for about another week at the most....
The other thing to consider is that Copper is MUCH easier to get than Plasma

No, about the most exotic thing I have is Firework and Summer. Since I cannot seem to get it with Copper and Chrome, thought I would try something with fails that I needed. Thank you!
I am never going to get a plasma. It is becoming so depressing. I have taken 3 short breaks this MONTH in breeding for plasma. I seem to have problems with most of the opposites, but i have invested tons of time into plasma. I cannot even try for a jade without it. Has anyone just not been able to breed a dragon?

Absolutely. I can remember having a bunch of crystal fails while going for the amber dragon. It can be frustrating, but the only thing to do is to keep at it. It'll make it even sweeter when you finally achieve that elusive dragon.

I don't consider myself an expert, lol, but I think the Dream Dragon is a permanent dragon. Maybe someone else can confirm this.

Yeah, just got crystal 3 times in a row.. I just need Dream & Hydra to complete Dragonarium. But it's getting frustating !
You can definitely try switching out the combo for Dream. Some players have found that changing the combo has helped; I'm not sure I believe it helps, but there's no harm trying!
You can try the Combo Finder tab in the DV Sandbox to see what other combinations you can try for Dream. Koala!

Eh... probably won't help, but probably won't hurt either.
Dream is a very rare dragon.
With any working combo you only have a 1% base chance of success.
The advantage of DRift + Flower is just that it has some of the shorter possible fails, but you'll get the same results with any combination of Light + Dark + Plant + Fire.
DRift + Love has even shorter average fails.

Yes it does, but no it doesn't matter. As far as we can work out, the rare & epic dragons are allocated a percentage chance. For a give breeding pair, those percentages are allocated, then whatever is left is allocated evenly among all the other possible outcomes. This means you have a one in one hundred chance of getting a dream no matter what combination you try.
If you use a pairing with lower average fail times then that means you get to try more often, therefore you are more likely to get the dragon within a given time frame. In much the same way that the lure that catches the most fish is the one that is in the water most. But be aware that while you get to try more often, it doesn't mean you are more likely to get the dream. Nor does trying 100 times guarantee success. Probability simply does not work that way.
For me, I prefer to use a pairing with a slightly longer average fail time. I find I get too tempted to buy out a breeding of less than an hour or two.
