I do not have bloom.
It would be my pleasure.
23 Panlongs, 25 Lichen and 24 Magnetic to start. Leaving
1 Cold 2 Water 8 Air 5 Metal
So 1 Snow, 2 Fog and 5 Chrome will knock them off.
25 Lichen 24 Magnetic 23 Panlong 5 Chrome 2 Fog 1 Snow
Now Panlongs have quite a long breed/incubation time, so you might find yourself collecting food faster than you can spend it. At that point I'd recommend switching to Mud and Firework instead of a Panlong as you can those two hatched before the Panlong has even finished breeding.
A bit of an update... while you were out giving away the Bride I was grinding the Shrine lol.
I got my first Silver which of course was Fire, think most of us get that first.
I've updated my Stats for you. I'm not sure where to go from here since I have 95 Dragons in hibernation so at the moment my only options are not to breed or sell anything I get. So at this point I need to know what to do next please?
I don't know how I am ever going to have room to have enough dragons to get the rest of the shrines.
I have: 60 Fire 39 Lightening 29 Plant 27 Cold 32 Water 33 Earth
I don't have the Metal Shrine yet of course.
This is what I have... Fire 2 Firework 12 Scorch 6 Firefly 6 Blazing 4 Lava 2 Bluefire 1 Lightning 2 Storm 2 Sonic 4 Plasma 1 Crystal 1 Water 2 Fog 2 Earth 2 Mountain 2 Mud 2 Quake 2 Cold 1 Ice 1 Iceberg 5 Snow 2 Frostfire 1 Lichen 7 Air 2 Plant 1 Poison 4 Cactus 3 Swamp 2 Moss 1 Tree 2 Willow 3 Flower 3 Evergreen 2 Seaweed 2 Sandstorm 1 Metal 1 Copper 3 Magnetic 5 Mine 2 Quicksilver 3 Rust 1 Chrome 4 Brass 3 Steel 1 Iron 4 Forge 1 Dodo 1

Panlongs 12* Butterfly 2 not sure if these count?
Without Bloom you're going to need
50 Panlongs 50 Lichens 50 Magnetics.
150 dragons to cover the 400 elements you need to Golden all your shrines. Now that you've got a silver Fire Shrine, you can feed all your Panlongs up to Level 15. Then breed 38 more of them and do the same. 4 gold shrines just like that. Then breed 50 Lichen and Magnetic Dragons and the other 4 will be done.
Now it's possible you'll want to feed up some of the dragons you have to Level 15, which will cut down on the others you will need to breed specifically for the shrines. You will need to feed them up and let me know numbers when you have finished and we can crunch what specific breeding you will need.

Oh my head hurts now lol just when I think I understand this goal I realise I just don't lol. Where am I going to put all these dragons Fletch? I take it I can't sell anything off so they are just going to go into habitats. Is there going to be enough habitats to have another 78 dragons?
If you have a fire shrine, and you level a fire dragon all the way to 15, you can then sell it and your shrine still counts it.
Oh yeah, you just sell them when you've leveled them up. As long as it's not an Air or Metal dragon, because you don't have the shrine yet. That's why I'd suggest not worrying about it until you hit level 25.
Simpler, but slightly longer at 111 days. The 93 days listed in the OP is still probably the best way to go until they release a 3 element dragon that includes Metal, preferably with out Fire, Plant or Lightning (as those elements each occur in 3 of the 4 multi-element dragons that currently exist).
Debs, my advice is to not worry about it too much at the moment. You don't get your last shrine until Level 25 so we can 't really make a plan until then. And the plan is best needed when working on the Gold shrines. For the moment concentrate on getting two Panlongs.
I saw this today, Fletch. Thanks. Your advice is appreciated. I've started breeding for Panlongs, without any success, but I'm only about a dozen tries into it. I'll apply the "P-Squared" approach...Patience and Persistence.
Hello, Fletch
Lovely wedding pictures. Congratulations, best wishes and bright blessings to everyone.
So, I'm at Level 25. EDIT: Sorry, that's Level 26, actually, about half-way along. I have all eight Shrines, four of which are Silver; Plant, Fire, Lightning, and Air. I have four Panlongs now, 164 assorted hybrid dragons (list to follow) out in habitats and 99 more dragons in hibernation, including 11 Level 1 dragons.
I'm cash poor, low on food, middling-OK on gems. My instinct says for the very near-range time, I should breed Panlongs like a crazy monkey, sell off excess dragons (do I really need 6 Flowers and 4 Poisons?), thereby raising more DC and clearing my HC for future breeding, and grow as much food as I can manage to stash.
This would be followed by leveling the infant dragons in hibernation and gradually converting habitats to Panlong occupancy, before proceeding to breed for Gold shrines according to your plan. Yes?
My game has been driven by breeding frenzy. I want to wind down and play for the long term. Slow and steady, always making forward progress.
Thanks, Fletch. ~Debs

Hi Debs,
I only need to know if you have 2 Bloom Dragons? That way you can choose which way you need to go to Gold all your shrines.
You don't need to level up all the dragons in your HC as generally it will be a waste of money unless you want to keep them. Selling them off as babies saves you the much needed food.
And changing habitats for Panlongs is entirely up to you. If you're willing to sacrifice aesthetics to make money, and you can clear coins regularly, then by all means go for it. Other wise, it doesn't matter because there is no advantage to turning your shrines gold sooner.
Nope, no Blooms, they were gone just before I started playing. I regret missing them, they are possibly the most attractive dragons in the game.
I appreciate your help. ~Debs
In that case Magnetics, Lichens and Panlongs are your best bet as they have the shortest breeding times and/or sell for the most money to cover all 8 elements. With your Lightning Shrine silver, you can start leveling up Magentics to Level 15 and then sell them off when you have too many. It will start to give you an idea of how long a grind it's going to be to turn your shrines gold.
I'm taking the slow no rush approach it'll happen eventually

Hi, Tony
I'm not in any particular rush to Gold my Shrines, but I am in a hurry to make money. I need more habitats, another island, and many more dragons and they are all very expensive and I am really low on cash. And then there's feeding all those dragons, to level them. It's going to have to be slow, no rush for some time, unless I throw a whole lot more real money at the game than I want to, or should. My husband just doesn't understand...

Oh, cool. I can generate Lichens at the drop of a hat. At least, I could when I was breeding for Pearls. Panlongs are no problem now, I have half a dozen and can breed more any time. I have a pair of Magnetics, so I can breed more of them any time, as well.
So, I'm on my way, cash and food and hatching/incubating times being the only obstacles to overcome. Nae problemo, Fletch, nae problemo.
Thank you for working that out for me, Fletch. I would happily gift you a gem or two, if you would take them.
Cheers, yourself, sir ~Debs

It's my pleasure, ma'am. There was a time we could breed the needed dragons in one cave whilst breeding Irons and Magnetics for cash in the other. Now the dragons have been coming so frequently that we're constantly breeding just to keep the collection up to date.
I have been lurking around here for some time, and I just registered today so I can join in the fun and ask for some advice.
I have only been playing for about four weeks, so I missed out on some dragons already, and I'm still working on getting others, but at the same time I'm trying to get organized for the shrine grind.
My problem at the moment is that I'm running out of room for more dragons. My fully expanded HC is nearly full, and my habitats are maxed out, which leads me to have to sell a few dragons.
Since I reached level 25 today, I thought it would be a good time to "clean house" and start breeding and feeding the dragons thinking about the shrines.
I'm also low on funds, and I can't sweep my habitats very often, so I've been focusing on getting metal habitats up and running.
My shrines are as follow:
Fire - Silver Metal - Silver Lightning - Silver Water - 25/50 Air - 46/50 Plant - 40/50 earth - 27/50 cold - 18/50
I realize silver is quite manageable to do, what I would like to know is which number/ types of dragons should I breed/ feed in order to make it easier to get to gold shrines.
I only have four dragons at level 15: 1 Paalong, 1 cactus, 1 copper, 1 sonic and 1 storm ( still level 14).
I'm trying to get a pair of each dragon, as well as dragons for the shrines, but as you can see it's still a work in progress.
If you could help me figure out which dragons I should be selling, and which ones to keep/breed for the future I would be really grateful.
Also, since it's my first post here, I want to say thanks to everyone like you that posts here, and helps new ppl like me to learn more about this fascinating game.
I have learned a lot since I started coming here, and I hope I'll be able to contribute something in the future as well.

Hi Madzik,
Welcome. Great to see you here.
2 of each dragon is plenty. Feel free to sell of any above that. The only ones you need to hang on to are those used in your grind. Panlong with do Earth, Air, Fire and Water, so working on getting a second one of those is paramount. The other 4 elements can be knocked off with Lichen (Plant and Cold) and Magnetic (Metal + Lightning) as they are the shortest bred dragons. Once you have levelled them up to 15, you are right to sell them off as well as they'll have done their job in working on your Gold Shrine.
If you have any preference on making some of the other dragons Level 15, then do all that first, then we can look at numbers and make a plan of attack. If you have no desire to Level them up, then basically 50 Panlongs, 50 Lichens and 50 Magnetics will do the job.
I have every Dragon except 5 and they are all level 15. Woot.
