Just looked at my air shrine, mind doesn't have a problem -- maybe try moving it a different location to see if it corrects itself.
Mine does. There is a section of the tail missing. Mine is gold. What colour is yours?
I've got a gold as well, and the tips of the right wing is missing along with a good portion of it's tail.

Wow!! I hadn't noticed it before, but you're right. Part of the tail is missing, and it's not just missing for the gold shrine. Mine is still silver, although I only have 2 dragons left. I'll hold out until sometime next month at least and see if they release that other air & metal dragon before leveling up two random ones.
I love my vine dragon avatar created by ElektronX. Now, if only BFS would add it to the game...

Huh I hadn't even noticed. I went back and found my air shrine without a tail as well. Scrutinized the other shrines too, but they appear right.

Can I ask please a very basic shrine question - I bought shrines - all of a sudden I can upgrade them for gems - is that because I've got enough dragons to allow me to upgrade to silver or is there always the option to upgrade with gems ?
Nineteen dragons away from a full set - it's work in progress still !!

That's a new feature in the latest DV update.

Don't know if someone also uses DragonCalc, an i device app to help track all the dragon's bred. In v2.6 is a new feature and now it also keeps track of the shrine status. Off course you've got to administer everything wright in the app but I think it's a nice tool instead of all kinds of excel sheets (though there's much more one can do with excel:-))
It delivers an overview of total dragons breed, #of dragons for each element, split in categories 10 and up, 15 and up, 20 and up.

Probaly not when the missing part is in the middle, like the Air Shrine

My air shrine is like the other: there is a chunk of tail missing, or transparent, with the tip reappearing. It is very weird that we are experiencing the bug differently.

Screen shot please. Mine has a small section at the end of the tail still there. You can see that it's a square section missing, cut off in straight lines. You can see a small piece of the tail in front of the lamp. I wouldn't think the display glitch would be different for different players.

Yep, the ones that I am seeing are exact duplicates of your bugged shrines. The wing tips are also cut off at a straight edge. Here's mine.
Just went ahead to test the display of a neighboring island and visited Pixie's park. Came out with a perfect duplicate of her air shrine.
All the bugged displays are the same for all players, just like what Fletch had mentioned. The descriptive wording may just have been simply misread.
