OboeKade , I love all the eggs with appendages, like Lava, Moss, Salamander, Thistle, etc. But if they were twin pedestals, the appendages would be removed. In the game, twin eggs have a glowing hue around them, so everything outside the egg shape is cut off.
I think that’s why there aren’t too many eggs with decorative additions. But it does make me like your eggs even more, because it shows all the egg accessories the game is missing!

Yeah, I really do wish more eggs had the appendages! Out of curiosity, what do the twin eggs look like for dragon eggs with appendages, like Lunk? Are they really just cut off, or are they actually removed to show what's beneath them? I could definitely change some of my designs to be compatible either way!
Here is Lunk’s twin egg. With a bunch of kids running around it.
As you can see, it’s a clean crop around the egg oval. Not a smidge of protuberance.

Thanks for posting this! I've already gotten about halfway done twinifying (is that a word?) the eggs that require it. I think that appendages definitely could work on my egg designs in-game, after seeing how the cropping looks!

Twinifying is definitely a word - it fits right in with other words in our Dragonese vocabulary.
I can't wait to see your eggs after they have been twinified.

Oh yes, twinifying definitely should be a word! 😂
I can't wait to show off my twinified eggs!

Hello again, everyone! As usual, thanks so much for the support and positive reception!
Over the past month I have been working on what you are about to see here: redesigns for every egg that uses the regular elemental pattern. If you are interested in seeing every egg (190 of them!) at once before I post about them, please use this link: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ff87PNV0XbGzk6F4uHhuP5VlcEcM1UoC
I am planning to do a feedback post where people can say which designs they like best and which should be changed- I’m planning to be online and making changes as the suggestions come in. If you want to contribute, make sure you tune in Friday, July 23! I’ll set the times in stone on Monday.
Now, without further ado, the cold hybrids.
Highlights: Lichen- The clumps of lichen on the egg make for a visually interesting and symmetrical design. Hail- The colors alone really stand out, and I took the liberty of including falling hail all over the egg. Phantom- The layers of texture in this egg really help make for a flowing design that easily conveys the dragon. Arctic- This simplistic design of this dragon made designing its egg a bit difficult, but I think it turned out great with the colors and patterns. Coldforge- This one is another instance where I feel like the appendage sticking out of the egg is really necessary for a great design. Candescent- This dragon’s tail serves as a centerpiece for a visually appealing design. Void- The layers of “void” make for a uniquely textured egg that looks great!
What are your favorite designs of the cold hybrids? Sound off in the comments below!

Now, without further ado, the lightning hybrids.
Highlights: Ash- I played off of the “ash” theme and made charred areas around the base of the egg with darker colors working their ways up! Ivy- Layering different pieces of ivy together makes for a unique and aesthetically pleasing design. Tempest- The colors and different layers of this egg make for a somewhat busy design that still easily conveys the Tempest Dragon. Cyclone- I made cure to focus on the “cyclone” part of this dragon with the wind swirls around and inside the egg. Thrasher- I used the blue orb to create a centerpiece and then layered metallic spikes behind it, making for a unique egg design! Wisp- I figured that, if the entire basis of this dragon was a glowing blue orb shape based on the will-o’-the-wisp, the dragon’s egg is probably going to somewhat resemble that! I kept parts of the dragon inside the design but made the egg the circular blue orb.

It is very difficult to pick favourite pedestals as they all illustrate the dragon they represent so well.
Here are some of my favourites from the different elements.
Plant Poison - it makes me think of a green toxic river with red poisonous bubbles coming up from the bottom Pollen Forest Thistle - shows perfectly what a thistle looks like
Fire Smoke - really love the colouring on this egg - subtle but effective Soot Sulfur - this is so realistic looking I can almost smell the sulfur. Wick - an intricate design which portrays Wick well.
Earth Obsidian Scoria Root - simple looking design, but very effective (I'm not saying it was simple to create ) Geode - not my favourite dragon, but love this egg design Xanthium

I loved creating all of those! Those are definitely some of my favorites too. Out of curiosity, are there any that you feel don't represent the dragon or could have been executed better? I'm completely open to feedback!

You highlighted some of my favourites for the lightning round. Cyclone, Firefly, Ash, Surge... and Wisp is soooo cute 👶

Now, without further ado, the water hybrids.
Highlights: (I tried to make them a bit more of an enjoyable read this time!)
Fog- The blend of different fog elements really give a unique feel to this egg! If only we could see through the fog. *shakes head*
Abyss- With the unique deep-sea coloration and red/bioluminescent pattern, this egg is sure to draw in all of your visitors! And any unsuspecting fish…
Tidepool- This egg is so aesthetically pleasing, plus it looks like an actual tidepool. What more could be needed?
Aquacorn- This egg is a sea of flowing manes and colorful highlights. Princess Eris would be proud.
Vortex- The vortex is really channeled through this egg, with a swirling design aided with the overlapping colors and patterns. Just don’t get sucked in!
Trench- This egg creates a dark and trench-like feel (see what I did there?) that is coupled with the yellow-green highlights from the dragon.

Cold Lichen - just perfect Ruin Shockproof Void - love the layering and the subtle colouring
Lightning Ash Thunder Spark - Very clever how you have included his horns and tail into and onto the egg. Brilliant Thrasher - Love that you used the orb from his tail and worked around it.
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure about the Wisp egg. The design is great, but I'm not sure about the round egg - in my mind dragon eggs are oval.

Thanks for the feedback! Wisp's egg will definitely be a topic of discussion during my feedback session. I might just include the orb and work around it like Thrasher's.

Now, without further ado, the air hybrids.
Highlights: Willow- I used the leaves in the dragon’s wings to convey the “willow” part of this design. Rain- I used overlapping layers to create a rain effect that really conveys the dragon! Dandelion- The dandelion tail of this dragon is used as a centerpiece for the rest of the egg that I built up around it. Derecho- I used billowing patterns with a dark color scheme to really show this dragon’s amazing design. Verdigris- The rusted orange color is key in this design as it is highlighted by the green verdigris itself.

Thanks for keeping us updated on your feedback date! I have a question, are you planning on taking suggestions for egg changes, then doing them live and reposting the new egg? Or are you taking questions about the egg designs and answering live, like an AMA session. I’m just trying to get the details on what you’re planning, this way we can know the type of requests/questions we should ask.

To be perfectly honest, all the air eggs are spectacular! I can’t really pick the top 3, because they’re all tied for first place.
I’ve always loved how the air eggs float, and your designs add so much to that. They’re all winners!

Actually, I'm planning to do both! I'll outline how it's going to work more in-detail around Thursday or Friday, but I can put the essentials here.
I'll post about 30 minutes in advance to each platform (Discord, Reddit, and this forum) to make sure everything gets through moderation. I believe this moderation is exclusive to Reddit, but I'm just covering my bases. Each platform will have a separate time I'll be hosting- right now the plan is Reddit 2-2:30 PM CST, Discord 2:45-3:15 PM CST, and the forum 3:30-4:00 PM CST.
In these posts, I will provide a list of topics I want feedback on (i.e. appendages for certain eggs, Wisp's shape, etc.) and also allow people to make any additional suggestions or comments. People can be complimentary or critical, saying what they do or don't like for whichever eggs they choose. I will be making changes and reposting them live as the critiques come in.
People can also ask questions about each design that I will answer in the fifteen minute breaks between sessions/platforms.
Anything I don't get to during the sessions I will work on ASAP and post the following day (Sunday) with a summary post, sort of like how DECA presents their answers to the AMA questions.
I believe that covers everything; let me know if something's missing or isn't clear!

Oh, that’s very interesting! This is really good to know. I think more people may participate if they’re aware of the details and all the work you’re putting into this.
Reddit has an automod that will filter posts if keywords are used. But they’ve recently added lots of new (human) mods, so there’s plenty of people to release the posts automod catches. You don’t have to worry about automoderators on Discord and the Forum.
Your live AMA/feedback session sounds utterly intriguing! I’ll be sure to check in on Saturday to egg you on (sorry, I absolutely could not resist 🥚).
