Yes, Dragonvale is a game of raising cute adorable dragons with you being a spectator of a magical park in the sky, but what does an unsuspecting visitor/wizard/princess get out of it? Getting a bird's eye view above your park may be comforting, until you're at ground level with these reptilian beasts.....
What it looks like from your view
What it looks like to a visitor
"Don't worry about where you put Fire dragons; they don't burn things… much."
More like, totally awesome! I love the realistic look you gave to the fire dragon. I might be afraid of going to a dragon park if I knew there'd be one of those guys spitting fire in my general direction. (I'd still go though!)

I honestly don't know what to make of this guy. Totally on the fence with his design. On one hand I love the dual wings. On the other... the colors. Eh. Hehehe, I think I was channeling some Gronkle when I drew this.

Awesome! I just had the feeling that you would draw this guy I LOVE how you made those ice horns and tail transparent to the body! Its jaw reminds me too of a Gronckle dragon from How to Train your Dragon.

Love the transparency! That huge jaw could be used for storage for almost everything it ever owned. Perhaps its' name should be "Removalist", or Bekins, or U-Haul.
So I was just able to get my hands on a new Wacom tablet and I have been really excited to test it out ;D After probably getting a bit of carpal tunnel in my hands, I can finally drop my old mouse art and move on to using a pen & tablet. So here's a showcase of one of my favorite dragons, the Magnetic, just testing out the device. (Sorry the pics are REALLY big.)
Detailed Style:
Basically just freehanding the structure from the in-game material and adding details to it.
I really like the baby version of that dragon and would love to see it in your drawing style.
I tend not to draw Epics because they're really detailed. My rule for these dragon drawings is that I'm not allowed to spend too much time on them. That being said... baby dragons are a lot simpler to draw than their adult versions. Baby Gold is a simple enough request! (Plus I love coloring gold stuff)

Aw man, aren't Wacom's great. What kind did you get? I'm in love with my Intuos 4.
I really like all the different styles you used on the Magnetics! I think my favorite is the "Normal Styled" one, with the colored line art. It's very cute.

Baby Gold Dragon:
Awesome job Lemmy! I really like how you did the gold plating on that cute baby Gold!

I got a Wacom Bamboo Create and am still trying to get use to the new feeling of it.
Thanks, the third one is my favorite one as well
Just out of curiosity, what digital art program/software do you use for your dragons? I use PaintTool Sai and Corel Painter Essentials 4 (but use it extremely rarely). I really like the gradient and fine lines done in many of your pieces.

For these guys I use a program called FireAlpaca (Here) It's a free program! The lines are done with the pen tool, and the gradient is with the airbrush.

Baby Gold Dragon:
You artists just blow me away! The Gold baby has so much personality, very cute!
'... overwhelming goodwill, and witty humour, profound grace and compassion blended with the spice of relentless taunts.'
