This one is my new favourite! Or at least one of my favourites. I immediately envisioned wizards dancing around a campfire. It’s very Nogardly / Hobbit-like and completely captures the outdoorsy campfire experience. 🏕
Another one finished! A sextet for gemshorn, flute, recorder, oboe, English horn, and bassoon entitled "Cascade". I tried to go for an autumn/camping theme here.

I’m planning on 16 total (so eight more than the eight I already have) plus maybe a few more “bonus” tracks if I’m feeling especially inspired. Essentially four songs for each theme I’m writing for.
The cello part was so fun to write! My first time exploring writing a piece in melodic minor 🎼🎵🎶

I love minor keys! 'Remnant' may be too mellow for players to have in the background while playing DV. But 'Ember' is perfect, especially after 27 seconds into the piece when all the instruments join!

I think the keyboards. They’re mostly a series of chords, so it’s making the piece very heavy and slow. If they had more variation and it’s own melody, it would let the piece flow more.

Yes, I love minor keys, so that’s not a problem 😊. 'Remnant' reminded me of the first composition you did, Meteor Shower. With 'Meteor Shower', the repetitiveness was with the same two notes playing throughout the piece and several chords in the background (piano, celeste).
