Welcome to THE Dragonvale Community's WIZARD'S DIARY!
This thread has been created to be a safe and exciting place for Dragonvale Community members to post and share and show off all sorts of writing talent! We have a ton of gifted writers amongst our ranks, and creativity feeds off of creativity. We invite any and all to post their Dragonvale-related stories, poems, musings, songs, basically anything using the written word!
Who knows? Your poem might be featured in our next eZine, or the DVC .com landing page!
We want to make a couple things clear, from the get-go. First, remember we're part of a community that celebrates each other in the spirit of Aloha. This need to be an encouraging place where folks feel safe sharing their creations. So don't make me moderate you! Second, THE Dragonvale Community claims no rights whatsoever to any writings you post in this thread at all! Someone might copy it to quote it in reply, obviously, but what's yours stays yours. Third, if you make an entry in one of our various poem or story contests, we'd love it if you'd also copy your work in this thread, just to be abe to showcase the community's talents in one place. Wouldn't that be cool? Finally, don't be shy!

This is an ode outlining the heroic efforts of Anuj, Bolardo, Stickychic, and Sebastian in their attempts to breed the elusive Opal dragon:
There once were four zookeepers with mud and lava dragons. Whose lousy eggs drove them to drink from their flagons. So they sold the eggs for cash..... Added more gems to their stash... And continued to breed the mud and lava dragons

Good work. Bet it took a few hours to put together like mine did!
Thanks for the compliments surprisingly enough it only took about half hour to get the wording right , if it was a longer poem I think I might have taken a lot longer as I was running out of rhyming words. Cheers.

I think I can still post here??? Anyhow, I have a Christmas story ;D Enjoy!! The Story:
Tommy was sitting slumped in his cave. He could hear the happy people below him and he groaned. "Why is everyone so HAPPY?" he asked himself. "Isn't Christmas about having Sleigh dragons kill yore other dragons?"
His loyal Sleigh dragon named Meowface then walked over to him with happy red eyes. "Fwee fwee fweebonk?" Meowface asked.
"Of course, Meowface," he told the dragon. "We are still causing chaos in the community! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!"
Meowface was happy.
Finally it was Christmas Eve. Eternity was a newcomer to the happy little conmunity and she heard a very odd noise. It sounded like a "Fweee fwee fweebonk" but she wasn't sure.
"What is that?" she asked her friends.
"Oh it's just Tommy the Grinch," they sighed. "You see," one said, "He once had this crazy idea for a Sleigh dragon as a new DragonVale christmas dragon called a Sleigh dragon; it would run over all other dragons. And then he made it real. And of course, named it Meowface."
Eternity rolled her eyes. "Of course he did!" she replied.
Then they all heard a shout. "HIDE ALL DRAGONS!" an admin was shouting. "MEOWFACE AND TOMMY THE GRINCH ARE ARRIVING!"
All of the population (wizards and dragons alike) ran for shelter. They didn't want to be by Meowface.
Tommy and Meowface landed on the community island. "Where is all those merry people?" he asked Meowface. "We were supposed to run them over."
Meowface groaned. "Fweebaww," it whined.
"Oh hush," Tommy the grinch said. "Let's just rest here and then we will go home." Meowface was upset.
Inside the cabin myke was telling a story about a different Grinch. That grinch's heart grew three sizes too big! They all had an idea.
They placed a cute crystal dragon outside at Tommy's feet. He saw it and exclaimed "Look it yer cute face!" Meowface make some odd noise combining "Fweebonk" and "Fweebaww". Tommy automatically assumed that Meowface liked it. His heart grew three sizes too big like the other Grinch myke was talking about. Instead of ruining Christmas, Tommy took the Crystal dragon back home with him and never was seen again.
Maybe he was plotting something evil so his heart would shrink. Maybe he fed the Crystal, saw how weird it looked, and his heart did shrink. Or maybe he will happily ever after with it.
Hillarious story, Eternity! I love how you picked stuff up from recent threads. And the "sleigh dragon called a sleigh dragon". Best part about the whole thing, though, aside from the very good grammar, was that it was about me!

Oops, lol, do you know how late it was when I read it? Groan. Sleigh dragon called a sleigh dragon. Meant Christmas. Roar.
