Chapter 1
It all started when I was still working in the Treat Farms. It was not a huge honor to work with the grumpiest wizards at the park. But for a young girl, it meant the world.
Our park was one of the best quality. Daddy always said they made over ten thousand pieces of DragonCash on visitors alone. I could not image the amount made on dragons.
When I was older, Sir Archigus (master of the farms) allowed me a promotion, granting me permission to feed the dragons. There was only one I could not feed; He Who Lays in Darkness.
I had never seen that dragon. He was always curled up alone, looking quite miserable. In the dark you could barely see his face. I had been so very disappointed that I was not privileged enough to feed him, but I still did my work.
One day, I knew I just had to meet this lonely soul. All the wizards were at the local pub watching a Dragonball game. I warped onto the second island.
I had watched Sir Archigus summon the dragon so many times I knew I could do it. Clenching my fists but not to squashed the fruit, I put my hand on the Chronolith.
I felt the chill of the Chronolith run through my veins, but still I chanted the words. Once I had finished, I looked up.
I was thrown back by a blinding flash of light. When he appeared, I gasped. He was beautiful.
Kairos, dragon of time. I bowed immediately and held out the treats so that he may take them. "Eat, Kairos," I whispered. "Tis good, trust me."
Kairos roared and flung himself upon me. I screamed and tried to heave the dragon off of me to no avail. Kairos roared triumphantly; then he began attacking my clenched fist to eat the fruit.
One of the wizards heard my scream and teleported to the island. "Kairos!" he yelled. "Off!!! Now, you miserable beast!"
Ashamed, Kairos slunk away.
He turned to me. "What were you thinking?!" he yelled. "You could have been killed, foolish child! Has no one ever taught you the ways of Kairos?"
"N-no, sir," I mumbled.
"He hates females," the wizard grumbled rather darkly. "But we cannot figure out why." He proceeded to walk away and eventually teleport, grumbling, "A child. Feeding Kairos. Bah!"
I made sure I stayed away from the den of Kairos at all times.
A/N: how was it? Better? Well, I better go lol, iPod's going to die! Haha
Hahaha, I couldn't resist either! This makes me inch to the edge of my seat every word that I read. Love the detailed descriptions and again, can't wait for the next chapter!

Well great. My storys been backlogged by a project. I was planning on finishing it soon but now with classes again it will be a day or two. Sorry its been held off guys RL is trying to invade this life :/

Lol, no worries. Life can be quite busy with school/work starting up again. I'll be looking forward to your story when it's ready
