With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post
and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste.
You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were.
Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod.
On October 1st (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favourite thread. You'll have about a week to vote.
So about the 7th of November we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will give a gem to both of the people that win the poll.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit.
I hope it looks vicious. Jagged diamond shards jutting out in different directions. Sharp, ravenous, glistening teeth. Blood red eyes that pierce the very essence of your soul.
Sooooooo funny Myke. Since your pic of the kitty won't quote will you move it to the POTM thread. It is so darn cute and I want folks to see what they are voting for. Thanks for the giggle
To keep this on topic. As the female dragon matures her fire grows hotter inside, causing her to have periods of overwhelming heat. This in turn causes her to perspire and feel edgy, so much so she feels like biting the head off the first knight she sees.

POTM. That's hilarious. I love how you kept it on topic.
Liquid is a guy Techno and he's voting for Fletch I don't think feelings should have anything to do with it. It's nothing personal. I just think Tommy stinks more at breeding dragons than Fletch. . Now Fletch you can't let me down or Tommy will never let me hear the end of this. (Sending Pam over to talk with Fletch's dragons)

That's cheating! Fine I'll send Corey over with a bottle of "Driagra" to Tommy's dragons!
I'm very fond of the 5 year old who sold my Bone Dragon, and then spent 300 gems on an armada of Lava Dragons, and then spent several thousand food to feed them up to level 10. He would have bought more Lava Dragons, but I hadn't accumulated enough gems for him. We've talked about it. We're better now.
There was a man who was brilliant and broody All his friends thought him a bit moody When they sent him a gem For being a friend He'd rant and rave Then hide in his cave
One brave soul ventured to query Why, when given a gem do you have such a fury? The man gave a reply With a wink in his eye I'm a giver not a receiver For this I am strongly a believer
Can you please remove the "2750 Food" from the Gold Wheel Spin. I'd rather come in second than win 2750 Food.
This is what happens inside my head when this happens: "Awesome, I just won first place. Whatamigonnawin whatamigonnawin whatamigonnawin? /spin... ... ... FFFFUUUUUUUUU"
Bliss you already won, as the colors of Kairo are the swedish colors, blue and yellow. In fact, this dragon should be named IKEA, even more as it is delivered in a kit you have to assemble!
Wanted to thank you for changing your race track code for the Kairos dragon. It's nice to see one of the pieces I need every three or four races. Even if you don't put them on the 6th slot, it's still encouraging just to see them on the wheel every now and again. It reminds me why I'm racing. If things had continued as before (where several races would go by without any Kairos pieces at all) I might have forgotten about why I was punishing myself by racing over and over again.
The last time I got a piece of Kairos artifact was about 40 hours ago, right before my friend Shellee went and got all the remaining pieces. So I understand that there aren't any left.
And thanks for 2750 Food. Just thinking that I've gained several hundreds of thousands of food 2750 units at a time gives me warm fuzzies. I especially like it when, on that odd race that has a piece that I need, you place it right next to the 2750 food on which I land.
Every time I get 2750 food, I think to myself: "great, another dragon I can feed up to level 6!"
My brain feels like mush and I have CTS, from tapping and spinning, so I guess I'll go do something else now.
POTM. Love the tongue in cheek. Let me know if this strategy works because I'm right there with you.
In the first hour it was available, I went two for three breeding the Ghost in my park and assumed it was a very easy one to obtain. I started trying for one in grandson Jack's park the next day and I just got the first one. I estimate that we are about one for a hundred in his park. I'm sorry to tickle Fletch's duck, but I still believe that dragons are often more abundant immediately following introduction.
Poppy
P.S. Yeah, I'm still around. Got the Kairos in my park mainly by racing, spent only 75 gems. I found a way to make the racing more interesting - I chose dragons that didn't dominate but could win by a nose as long as I had all Greats and Perfects.
I voted for Myke's innocent kitty. So cute and funny
Wonder who else voted with me?
