....I'm in desperate need of a storage shed as I'm being over run with limited edition decorations!
Becky, I loved your story (I'm a pushover when it comes to impetuous bravery for the sake of love!). Your Halloween Island is magnificent. It gave me quite a shivery feeling to see the very place where Muddy and Lavaly had their tragic encounter with duct tape, and shared their first kiss and wondrous transformation. This was my first visit to your park (thanks for the invitation). Do you decorate a theme island for every holiday?
Thanks Esteriel! Glad you enjoyed Muddy & Lavaly. Just think, without duct tape there would be no Bone Dragons on Halloween Island! Gasp! I believe Lavaly got over her frustration with Muddy and they are as content as can be expected with those hollow skulls . . . not to mention they have successfully visited the breeding cave twice. The wizards captured one egg for their egg collection, but the other one hatched and the proud parents dote on Baby Bonzy. The other dragons on Dragonisle are concerned though because the dastardly witches have added more Bone Dragons to their collection . . . a count of the hibernation cave is currently being conducted.
I did a partial St. Patrick's Day Island, but this is the first time I've done an entire holiday island. Hopefully I won't get busy and end up still having a Halloween Island around for Christmas!

Your Halloween Island gave me an idea Becky for when we can add another island. I'm thinking of doing a Seasonal Island. I will put the Seasonal Habitat in the middle and then divide the island into 4 sections using decorations for that season. The Seasonal Habitat in the middle will change to match one of it's surrounding seasonal areas.
I enjoyed reading everyone's stories. I especially liked the poem. I love poetry.

I love it!! Great idea!! I've been contemplating using the seasonal habitat as a basis for an entire island decor and changing it completely out every season, but your idea is MUCH better and definitely more manageable!
Haven't the stories been fun? This is an amazing forum with such a wonderful group of administrators and members. Who'd have thunk it? All because of a silly little dragon game? LOL

Awww, tell your daughter thank you! What a sweet compliment!
The wizards know very little about Mor'Gynne the Ancient, other than she is a witch, she is powerful, and she disappeared one day in October after an unfortunate event involving an animated pumpkin. Mor'Gynne's rise to power was almost as fast as her disappearance was sudden. No sooner was the scryer-wire abuzz with the news of her terrible feats, the crystal balls were aglow again with news of her vanishing.
Her fate is unknown; it is fearfully believed (in the wizard community) that she is still at large. Despite her brief existence as an evil wielder of arcane powers, her renown is wide reaching and she is the subject of much study.
The Bone Dragon and Mor'Gynne the Ancient share some things in common... some known, and some unknown. Foremost, the wizards know very little about the Bone Dragon, and it is the subject of much study.
The Draconomicon (the wizardly epi-tome on dragons) contains but the following information about the Bone Dragon:
Bone dragons can only be found for a couple weeks during the year. The rest of the year it is believed that they burrow underground near cemeteries to be around other bones. But I bet if you breed one and put it in a habitat with other bones, it would stick around. Or perhaps near a heat source to keep away the bone-chilling winter cold?
This entry contains but two verified facts: that Bone Dragons are scarce save for a couple of weeks each year, and that if you successfully breed one it will remain in your park, to the great delight of your guests. The rest of the entry is conjecture. The words it is believed and or perhaps suggest that the master librarian wizard is soft when it comes to his academics (though he is a splendid administrator, and isn't allergic to dust ).
At least there would be a chance he'd wash that green dreadlock-looking mohawk of his. And, he would smell nice.
