I feel your pain!!! My first SED fail finishes up in the nursery in 13 hours from now. And now I just got another one in the cave!

Have been very lucky to avoid the SE's the round. Happy to report Garnet has been captured. I'm out!

Congrats Pixie! I got that SE once but now keep getting 6 & 8 hr fails. No garnet yet for me.

Nice to check in and see that I'm not the only one with a Solar Eclipse clogging up the pipeline. That's still got another 22 hours breeding time left. 16 fails so far. I'm using the other breeding site for Ruby. 4 fails at the moment. Most common fail for Garnet has been Obsidian, followed by Smoke. 50% of the Ruby fails have been Smoke.
Well done to those now in possession of a Garnet and best of luck and Koala bears to the rest of us!

Well, I got so excited to get a long breed time I forgot about the dagnab Solar Eclipse.

Would post a screen shot if I knew how. Is there a help site on the forum that explains how to include a picture in a post for us dummies?

Still working away at Platinum, up to 89th try. Ho hum.

So do I need to use the cave for Garnet, too or can just wait out the 39 hours and continue trying for Platinum?

I've had three Solar Eclipses so far in my quest for Garnet. Needless to say, I haven't been able to try very much (gems have been going toward a second bloom in my cave, but over there I have gotten three Suns).

Well I'm still a winner! Both breeding sites being used full time and still no Garnet! Might have something to do with the three solar eclipse fails!!!!
