Well...it seems that just by me deciding to participate in the I HATE competition, it has made me a BIG LOSER!!! Lol 😜. I am out!
I got my Garnet cooking in the hatchery now!
Funny how when I don't participate I can't get it until almost the last hours of availability. But when I do...I manage to get one about mid month every time! Hmmmm.ðŸ˜

Well, just checked out my park and can finally say that I'm a loser! I'm so happy it was just 12 days for this one to arrive, as I usually don't get gem dragons occasionally.
Yes, the strategy of this competition of 'constant breeding' is a really great method as it has definitely worked for me!
(BTW, I love my dragons } They only suffer as much as I do.)

Hermione2424 update: 4th SE currently brewing with no garnets in sight. Some good news though, she managed to get her 2nd clover after numerous moss and tree fails. Now, with some well deserved trepidation, is starting using both breeding sites trying for the garnet or, depending on how you look at it, doubling her chances for another SE!
Congrats to those who have achieved this goal and best of luck to those still trying!

Well, our prediction came true, as SE #5 is currently brewing in the cave. Anxiously awaiting the end of the Bring 'em Back event!
Still no luck with Garnet. 😔 Wound up spending gems again to get my 2nd Apocolypse. Still have not one single Gold Olympus...after all this time! 😫ðŸ˜. Oh well..just have to settle for bronze and silver. Would also like a second Current, but didn't achieve that one either.
I DID get a 2nd LYD!!! Yay!!! 😄ðŸ˜. Got lots more Solar Eclipse trying for Garnet! So not at all a total loss!

Those SEs will help you make lots of cash in their upgraded habitat. Wish I had a couple more. But alas, I got Garnet 1 and 2 rather quickly...
Very true!!! I will trade my SEs for another Garnet for display and Just ONE Gold Olympus!!!

Here is a method that might work.
Try going for an SED, use the smoke/obsidian combo, just watch out for those darned garnet fails!!!

I Lost! Gave in and bought gems and got the garnet on the 42nd try. I am going to use it for display and continue trying for a baby dragon. Hang in there folks.
Whining on here really does work, I got an unwanted Solar Eclipse on the island but my trusty old cave gave me a Garnet. Now I just have to hope that the whining helped the rest of my family.

I'm starting to run out of folks still trying for the garnet to give g'luck gems to... So if you're still alive in this comp, and don't have me in your friends' list, send me a FR. Maybe that's lazy of me, but it's gems for you guys, and often this gems carry the successful breeding formula within them.
Congrats to all The losers and g'luck to all those still trying (for me - no joy breeding a 2nd garnet for my display, as of yet)
I never got a second Sakura but at least I can now try for Garnet in both island and cave, though I have a lot of Lava from just using the cave! All my fails are out as eggs, at least then I get a cash boost when I (hopefully) finally get Garnet.
