You can know which you have by when you bred it. If you bred it b/t 7 A.M & 7 P.M. according to the time set on your idevice, you have a sun. If between 7 P.M. & 7 A.M. you have a moon.

Oops! According to the Sandbox my first breeding this morning in the EBS, 22 hrs 24 mins, is an Amethyst.

I just got my second one for display but I'm gonna keep breeding for them cuz I like the egg so much I wanna to display more. Yesterday I got a sun and an amethyst in my second account. I have never been so lucky with the gem dragons. I only got 1 garnet in the second account and it was on the last day. koala to all those still needing an amethyst. I hear their is a karma sutra book in the library.

Congrats folks, these long fails are a pain. Just got my first Sun fail, I'll probably hatch it as the new areas take 3 but even using Kairos it's a long drag! Sympathy to others still hunting Amethyst
