That does sum it up. I don’t know when or how the odds of breeding dragons changed but this game is no fun if the only way to get new dragons is with event currency or buying Mystery Eggs. Someone needs to remind BFS that the excitement comes from ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO BREED THE DRAGONS! Everytime they unlock a group of Rifts I try the entire time up to and many times including the 10,000E breeding, nada, nothing. I have never bred anything I needed with 10,000E so why even go there. You would think they would increase the odds with the higher E. It seems the odds go down. I will maybe get one through spending on a Mystery Egg. Where is the fun in that? The last three BEB events I did not breed a single twin egg I was missing. Bred dragons the entire time without the feeling of success you get from breeding what you need. I have gotten a few missing twin pedestals through the Mystery Eggs but if the only way to complete the collection is through purchases then why bother playing. There is no joy in buying the ones you need, only frustration in not being able to breed them. If BFS doesn’t get it’s act together soon and start allowing us to breed dragons again, I am going to have a little fun redecorating my park and then delete the app just like I did DragonVale World. That also means someone on this forum will get a promotion. 

Awww, that is SO much better than my rant!!! Includes a THREAT lol ( I'm lol-ing somewhat nervously you understand, mamma puhleeeeeze don't leave us, papa dropbear did and we've never recovered from the severing of relationship, NO-ONE else wears such shirts with such flair and panache 😳😞😩😭😭😭😭😭😭)

I specifically made sure it was capitalized for the proper name usage. I've had plenty of the other Dragonvale misfortune lately...not asking for that for sure. Thanks for the funny.

The hint notably doesn't say that the Twilight Tower overrides that condition like Moon/Sun does. It may be safer to start your breeds after 7pm regardless of setting, just in case.

Got Mysfortune in Ebc, with Twilight Tower at Nightfall, from Zombie x Platinum (sped bred x3 and sped hatched); now 💙 Koala all 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨

I also got the right timer for Misfortune on first try in CBC. Couldn't stand the suspense so I sped it up and yes! it was the Misfortune dragon. My fortune quickly turned into misfortune when I bred an Electrum and a Platinum dragon in two of my caves.

Zombie + Platinum is three element due to Platinum's contributed element weirdness and is the only combo with just the parents (and Rainbows) as added epics. I think that probably makes it the best for the Vale. For the Rift, Apocalypse + Electrum/Silver is the best bet until more Rifted Apocs are out.

I was keeping track of the time while (sort of) watching the news. When it was 7 PM (EST) quickly bred and bought eggs. Perhaps tomorrow I'll get it! Misfortune, that is.
Are we the only folks wishing for misfortune on the planet?! Unusual group we are indeed.

A request, if I may...When you DO get a new Dragon, in addition to celebrating, give the rest of us a heads up on how you did it. ie. the Combo you used and their Levels, the Cave, The Island, The Coop. The time of day and approximately how many times you tried this combo.

We will all appreciate that info...we need every edge we can get.

Platinum + Zombie both level 18 in the EBC, setting on Twilight Tower was set to Nightfall, netted me Misfortune on my second or third (don't remember, but I didn't speed any up since release) try with that pair. Koala all. 🐨
