Hey Frenzzz, been trying to breed a Bloom very hard for the past 5 days.. Tried using Storm x Plant (and vice-versa), Lichen x Storm (and vv), Cactus x Storm (and vv).. Over 60 tries and all i got was a lot of Lichens, Storms and Cactuses.. Could someone please suggest what to do?? just want to get atleast one Bloom before its taken out of the market..
Ducking out from lurking, finally. A couple of things. I can't afford the app to get here. So am using the Safari thaw is on my iPad. Fletch, I think I hit something by accident on my small screen, that might affect you. The Exalt/"whatever" thing. I hit tht by mistake and I think it hit you with the "whatever". I'm sorry, and will try not to do that again.
Te next thing...does anyone know the deadline for the Bloom??? I still have NOT gotten one and am thinking this will be the first one I don't get to get. Picture me pouting, if I not gotten one and won't get it. Have tried every combo and gotten a new Moon and Sun from it, but no Bloom AT ALL??
And just now got another 48hour draggie. Good Grief and not Charlie Brown either.
Glad you are posting and not just lurking. No idea when bloom will be gone. Follow Fletch's advice...I hope you get it.

Ok so this gold grind is killing me.. I am breeding blooms right now for them... But can not seem to get enough dc to feed anything... This is way slow...
I'll take one of those Blooms off your hands!! I know that isn't able to be done...but hadda try!

If you have a reindeer it is worth trying reindeer and storm to get Bloom. At least three of us got lucky with this combo.

Yup, me included. I think it's because you can't get reindeer anymore in that combo, so it's impossible to get that parent again. It lessens the chance on getting a lichen.

Eel Dragon - Water/Lightning Hybrid. Looks like a water dragon, but colours of a Lightning Dragon. Meaning a Yellow water dragon.
Noticed that all the opposite hybrids are just recolourings of existing dragons? Bluefire is a blue Fire Dragon. Frostfire is a red Cold Dragon. Sandstorm is a brown Air Dragon. So we can assume that's one of the rules they're going to stick to for opposite dragons.
Breeding Let's assume they're going to stick to the same rules for Opposite breeding as well. In this case, a Water Dragon + Lightning Hybrid is what's required. The Metal Dragons with their short breeding times and good retail value have come up trumps lately, and using Water + Magnetic here seems like a great choice, with Magnetic and Rust the fails for an average time of 5 hours. Avoid Water + Quake because of the chance of a Crystal.
Blue Lightning Dragon - Lightning/Water Hybrid Don't know if that's it's name, or if it's just it's description, but hey, it works for the Bluefire Dragon. Looks like the Lightning Dragon, but is blue.
Breeding. Lightning + Rust is the pairing of choice for the same reason as the Eel Dragon. Don't use Lightning + Mud because of the suckage that is the Crystal Dragon.
Dodo Dragon - Earth/Air Hybrid Looks like an Earth Dragon, but it's blue. This sounds pretty unlikely to me, but what the hey. People are speculating ...
Breeding. Earth + Air Hybrid. Chrome is the way to go for the same reason as up above. Actually most of the Earth Hybrids have horrendous times, so avoid anything with Cold, Plant, Lightning, Fire. Fog would be okay, but Chrome would be better.
Dandelion Dragon - Plant/Metal Hybrid Looks like a Plant Dragon but is Brown/Yellow?
Breeding. Plant + Metal Hybrid. Plant + Magnetic seems cool here. Cactus is 30 minutes for a 100K and Mag is 4 hours for 1.5 million.
I will say again that this is all pretty much guessing on behalf of people on the interwebz, but it's something to talk about whilst we're waiting.

Now i feel bad.... Kept trying in the ebi... Both of Munro came from there... You might even try useing a 2nd or 3rd gen dragon... Sending all my luck your way ( it might not be much)....

Why would a Dandelion be associated with metal though? The only possible link I could find was a super light metal that can float on dandelion fluff. But still that's a far stretch imho.
Wasn't the Eel dragon in the code already, but had issues with being a water dwelling sprite only that glitched up in the lightning habitat?

I'm not trying to explain them, I'm just spreading rumour and falsehoods. Maybe it was another Lightning/Plant Hybrid.
