I'm glad everyone's having a fun (or frustrating ) time looking for the eggs! I want y'all to know that I am laughing like an evil villain everytime someone tells me they can't find one of the elusive eggs.
Jo you must understand that far north where Myke lives, eggs are hidden in the snow (where they freeze) and it is hard to find a white egg in the snow. Myke s hiding is based on that and we know the result ...
Oh it is already summer in Canada! Or is he punished for having hidden coloured eggs in the white snow?
It's starting to warm up nicely. I have almost no snow in my front yard!
I have gone to Shane's, LC's, and Lemmy's parks, and admit I had a lot of difficulty finding their eggs. I misunderstood one of the requirements. I thought I had to leave a distinctive element of the bloom egg visible. When I went back to reread the instructions, I understood that I could have gotten away with just leaving the thinnest sliver of eggshell visible. That'll teach me to L2Read. After I saw the error of my ways, it was too late. And there was nothing left but for me to humbly suffer the abuse hurled at me, which I think I did quite admirably! (I sense me POTMing myself again)
Another thing I regretted was not having more nicely decorated islands for you all to look at. The other egg-hiding mods all had beautiful islands. I've never been a good island decorator, but I see that it would have been worth the time and effort in this case.
I'd like to nominate LC for having done the best repurposing his islands for the egg hunt. Scattering his egg collection around his islands to throw off your searching and cause your eyes to bleed was absolutely inspired. I wish I had thought to do the same thing. Not to avoid your umm... what's the word... criticism, but to give you the challenge you all seemed to enjoy searching for his and their eggs.
Your park is lovely, Myke. I scampered about in there for quite a while after I found the baby bloomers. I do like your version of the parliament buildings in Ottawa on your northeast island.
Yeah, i have gotten them all, the last one at Lemmy was really difficult. G'luck all. Myke, we understood that your egg hunting was a bit easier so everybody had a chance to at least find 3 of the overall chase. Just pretend that was exactly the purpose lol

can i PotM this because it's the first nice words myke has ever written about me (publicly at least). i sense a backhanded compliment in there somewhere, or else he's just waiting around the corner with a bat to do the job properly
since myke was so nice, i apologize for almost everything i have ever written about him. myke is really a great guy (that's probably PotM worthy now too)... for a Canuck.
btw, i love how he always posts self portraits of himself.
myke, if you need a break from the cold, the wife, kiddos, and i are all complaining about the recent cold spell here in South Carolina, but i'm sure you'll enjoy our miserable mid 60 highs and mid 50 lows. (poking the bear with a stick is fun...for awhile)

You see kids, this is what happens when you live in America's attic for too long.

You know we love you Myke! And as I searched your park I kept saying, "It can't be this easy". I thought for sure you had clumped your eggs and flags together for nefarious reasons, like hiding a Bloom egg inbetwixt and between. I'm sure you have already started planning for anniversary two and I for one will be expecting great things.

For the record, I only moved eggs for this hunt... The rest of the objects are really thrown that willy-nilly all over the place (aka Canada-style)
Can we change "willy-nilly" to "Canada-style" permanently? I'm sure myke will sing us a song about it if we do. Probably have some terrible dance that goes with it also.

Finally found the last of Debs eggs I was missing. It is amazing how much easier they are to spot after you turn up the brightness on your iPad! That will teach me to quit trying to conserve battery power.
Now I am headed over to your park little lady. Yours is the one last egg to find. If the added brightness does not help I may have to resort to totally clearing one of my islands and then recreating each one of yours in turn until I can discover where I can hide my Bloom egg in your park recreation. Wish me luck!
Wow hahaha you guys probably won't believe this, but I just had a dream about Fletch's final egg, and it was where I dreamed it was! *plays Twilight Zone music*
