I had this idea that you can be able to "Trade" dragons with a friend.
Hi ravenking97, welcome to the forum! I voted no because I think it would change the entire dynamic of the game. It would remove the challenge and euphoric feeling of breeding that ultra special epic dragon that has eluded you for so long.
I vote NO also. Even though it took me 125 breedings to get my Aquamarine and my husband got 2 in 5 breedings, I would not want him to give me one! I like to breed my own, even if it means horrible times trying! LOL. It is like Pixie said, there is no feeling like it when you finally get the one you have been after for so long.
I had a terrible time getting one of the metal dragons and had bred 50+ times. Fletch said it is only 50 gems why don't you buy it! Ha ha, NO I want to bred it! But that is just me!
The crux of the game is the breeding, and the statistical odds. Trading would remove that entirely.
Also I'm aware that it is possible to jail break one device to send more than the max six gems a day. It would be far too easy for unscrupulous souls to "sell" rares to the highest bidder, repeatedly. The receiving person's account would not technically be jail broken, but it'd be cheating just the same.
I tend to distribute my spare gems to those who look like they need them so please don't feel you have to return if you get one from me!
My GN won't let me in regularly so please don't send me gizmonauts crystals. I can't use or return them!
I've seen this idea proposed before and I go by the same reasons as everyone has suggested here: o Jailbreaking/hacking then via "selling" o The game would be completely transformed into a downhill situation o Challenges will be made pointless o Some players will have a certain unfair advantage o It just isn't fair.....
I see it as kind of a Co-op cheating predicament that would ruin the game mechanics of DV and those who work hard to play it. If BFS would to release a new dimension into their game, I certainly would not like to see this implemented in the system.

I voted NO also because I, like everyone else, worked too hard to get our dragons. I don't believe it would be fair to those of us who have spent thousands of hours breeding and incubating those dragons just to give them to someone who hasn't invested their time in the game. It truly seems like cheating to me. Be well, Janet
I joke around about how nice it would be to steal someone's dragon I do not have. But I have to agree with the others. It feels so much sweeter when I finally breed it. I don't even buy them cuz my hubby tells me it's cheating.
Another no vote here. Breeding and struggling for a tough dragon are what make the game exciting. Deb and I have joked about leaving dragon eggs at each other's doorstep but that's as close as I want to get to dragon trading. I do love how our community comes together and bombs someone struggling to get a dragon to help their chances.

I thought it was those astro bots you are hoarding.
Nope. Jailbreakers aside, it would take away the challenge of the game. Most people don't want to play an unchallenging game, especially a "farming" game like this.

I thought that it would be nice that if instead of selling the crudy dragons you could give them away, you wouldnt necisarily have to recive but it would be a good way to make money or treats or gems.

That's because you have a kind and giving heart, and aren't looking for ways to profit from the game in the real world.

I'm a no vote as well. I think for about the first 6 months I played DV, I was wishing trading/gifting existed...but there is no way I would have stuck with the game for roughly 17 months if that had been possible.
Just wondering about the folks who voted yes...any feedback on that? I won't judge, just wonder what I'm forgetting in my old age, as well as possible reasonings that I might to have considered.
I voted yes. I am spontaious. I am really not sure. Would be nice, but I agree that it would take some of the excitement away. I would NEVER even buy gems for real money. That would be to easy and take the fun away!
Except the huge problem is that jail breaking and hacking are possible to enter the game.....as it already has The last thing I would want to see is people getting real money, like from Myke's comment, by saying things like, "I'll trade you a Rainbow dragon for $2.00 etc." Many people really do pay money for this game and could be a tempting advantage for them by spending a few bucks instead of waiting for dozens of hours. All this money should be going straight to BFS, the ones who actually fabricated, coded, and created this wonderful game we love.

NO NO NO! Leaves game open to jail breakers, etc., etc., etc., etc.!!!! 😤😤! The air of suspense and fun when trying for epics, rares, and all others, would be lost.
