Well, I was lucky enough to land another caterpillar. Sigh. Steam Bot seems to be rather reluctant to come visit my park. That's cuz you got all the Astros.  That first Astro was a long time coming too. I just had luck with seconds and thirds. And fourths and fifths. I will trade one for a steam bot. |

Still trying. Still failing. Thanks to everyone who is speeding up all my Caterpillars, Moles and sundry extras.
To keep things interesting I am going to gift 2 Crystals to the first person to breed a Steam Bot with a new combination. And I mean every new combination. I think Grinder + Aloe/Spray is up for grabs. And probably a couple of others. Oooooh, Grinder + Yeti should work as well! So 4 or 5 chances to win. Assuming that Grinder + Nature/Hybrid is the combo. Maybe there's heaps of combos out there.
Post a screen grab in this thread that shows the combo and the remaining time and I'll ship the crystals.
EDIT: Has no-one got one with Grinder + Caterpillar yet?

I sure hope that carrier can get you a steam and that I manage to breed one first. Why? It's not for the two crystals. It is simply because I love a good challenge. Thanks for making my quest more fun fletch. It was getting slightly boring, but now, I'm eager to continue.

At this point, a Steam would just be a nice bonus. Who would have ever thought it would be so difficult to get a Caterpillar!? I also sold my Steam habitat so I could get the Snax Shop goal again, rather than the Builder or Repair zone goals. I'm one who likes it as simple and clear-cut as possible. |

They placed their zones in close proximity to conserve resources and be good stewards of the outpost. They are the original members of the Green Party. |

I bred grinder + flower for days and got almost nothing but moles and caterpillars. Monday night I talked myself into switching to grinder + harvester and the fails have all been 4 hours or less until just now, first mole brewing. Though this combo has yet to produce a steam, it is been much kinder to me.
Although I must admit to checking my phone rather obsessively under my desk at work to try to clear the breeding stations, lest my friends show up to help me out and the bot has already finished cooking.

So I've yet to build a steam unit lots n lots of catapillers moles ect ect.
Is the Steam bot limited or a permanent addition
