By the rule you just quoted, shouldn't that be "it's" as in "it is not..."(abbreviated)?

No, if I had put the first "its" in quotes it might have been clearer that I meant the non-apostophe version was the one he should have used there, and that I wasn't saying "it is".

I have a suggestion for the second-language speakers : I would like to have a list of normal akronyms ( akronyms not specially edited by this forum) used in a forum.
I had no problems with ASAP and IMHO but I had to look up MOTH for example.

As this is not important to the majority, it may be put in a second lexikon. But that would be very helpful.

I'm mostly limiting it to stuff that I see regularly in the forums or the occassional rare bit of lingo that is specific to the game.

So I might add some of these... but I'm not sure what context MOTH was used in, so I'm not sure which version of the acronym I would even explain...

It was used in the meaning of Man Of The House
