Looks like BFS is releasing a new set of permanent hybrids. In the spirit of the original contest, we're bringing back the naming competition!
Rules are the same as the last contest: 3 gems from me to anyone who guesses correctly!
Here's how it goes: Pick a hybrid type, and guess a name! e.g. Air/Cold = Wind. The order or the elements doesn't matter. It could be Air + Cold, or Cold + Air. Your guess can count towards either hybrid. You get two guesses for each combo, unless there is only one dragon remaining in the element combo. Then you only get one guess. e.g. We already know that Fire + Plant is the Pepper dragon, so you can only have one guess for the name of the new Plant + Fire dragon.
Leave a post with your guesses and I'll update the OP. Don't worry if you're unsure about the guess, you can always change it later!
NEW! With the recent release of the new elements of Light and Dark we are opening up the hybrid naming competition for new Light and Dark hybrids. All the new Light and Dark hybrids have been released, which now opens up the guessing for the Golden hybrids!

Most of these guesses are from a large brainstorming of ideas for DragonVale Light and Dark hybrids Here. I don't have an Aurora dragon drawn out yet, but if I have time...

Oh, and one of the Fire + Air combos must be a Phoenix dragon. Mentioning that while I think of it.

Well ... there is no reason I can see/think of that doesn't allow for two combos for each pairing, like we have right now. 56 new dragons I reckon, with the reverse of the pattern on the opposite pedestal so they stand out more. So the next fire/plant combo will be on the plant pedestal with the Poison pattern, green egg with orange flames.
I'm interested to see what they do with the colour in combos that have the lightning element. It seems a darker colour, but a yellow egg with orange highlights will be a bit plain. No doubt they've looked at that.

It does look orange-ish on the Pepper egg due to the red, but it's supposed to be a metalic gold:
That's why I've taken to calling this set Golden Hybrids (as opposed to Rare Hybrids as I initlaly refered to them).
I suspect Earth + Fire will be next, so well see a brown egg with golden flames similar to Obsidian.

Yeah, not sure how well it will look on the yellow lightning eggs, but we could probably photoshop a mock up befroe they get around to releasing one
Then again there are already some eggs with rather less than spectacular color contrast... Pollen, for example.
