I noticed that too - I think it's a goof. I used to get that "your dragons miss you!" on one device if I hadn't picked it up for a while (I use my iPhone for work, so it was usually Sunday or Monday when the park asked me to come back). Now the message is pretty frequent, so I think it's in error (you're right, it is too frequent ).

why does it have to cover like 1/3rd of the screen for 7 years every time I do anything
Here’s what gets me: I click on a habitat to collect my DragonCash and I also get two - count ‘em: TWO - Candies, yet a dozen Candies go flying by. At what point should the ‘TRUTH IN ADVERTISING’ laws kick in and shouldn’t we be given a dozen each time instead of just two?

You do know you can turn that off in game settings? Click on the gear at the bottom of the page for game options, then uncheck Reminders.

I had genuinely forgotten that page existed. 😳 I don't think I've been in there since the "Your Plant habitat is full of DragonCash" notifications were a thing.
...I'm going to miss some of the reminders. I tend to pop into DragonVale frequently but for little time. Full sweeps of my park are pretty rare and I suspect I'm going to let quests and Bathmat slip a bit. It's totally worth it to not open my phone up to 6 messages that my dragons miss me though, especially when the first apparently came in 4 minutes after I left last time...
Aaaactually, I'd quite like some more things added to the notification selection. Maybe expand it to a whole menu where you can pick and choose? I'd certainly like the Coliseum added, and ones for Kairos and Gaia being ready would be good too. Maybe BFS can do that while they are fixing the spam? 😇
Not sure what is going on with BFS currently. Maybe just getting ready for Winter Festival? Would just like to be able to play normally, switch between parks & collect the maximum treats per day during Om of Noms. Am travelling this weekend, and don't have the time or the internet access to be constantly reloading the game or powering on and off to switch between parks. It's annoying to be asked to contact Backflip Studios 8 times per day with no ability to reach resolution to the problems. Almost frustrated enough to go away quietly.....

Bfs, can the rift dragons have their own border color? It's difficult to differinate the types when looking at the all and element categories. And considering how many dragons there are now it would help with another sub category. Thanks!
Hello! I’m brand new to this forum and have been a loyal DV player since the beginning. Still love the game and can’t believe I haven’t found out about this forum until now. Anyway, I’m not sure if this idea has been brought up already, but I was wondering if there is any plans for the dev team to implement a way to “hide” all our menus on our games so we can have the maximum view of our parks. Also, if there is a way for players to zoom out and get the whole view of the entire park layout.
One thing I love about DV are the beautiful graphics. I would love it if I can view my park and all the islands without all the menus and buttons obscuring parts of it. And I think it would be nice to be able to see my park in its entirety on the screen.
Thank you, Backflip and DV team for creating such a wonderful game. Dragonvale is my oldest game to date on my iPad and I’ve had years of enjoyment so far! I’m continually impressed with each new update and hope to be able to keep playing for many more years to come! 😊
