An idea that ive had for a while now would be the addition of a new building class in that it would be functional not merely decorative. My idea is to be able to purchase a wizard to act as a sort of grounds keeper or game warden, and his function would be to collect coins from habitats that are at full capacity so that the user has more of an oportunity to make money while away. He would not come cheap to purchase and only be available at a higher level and would have his own max capacity as well. I was thinking hed need to be purchased for several million coins or maybe 150 gems making him harder to obtain but once owned he would collect coins for you up to maybe 5 or 10 million until you visit and collect from him. There could even be a special character that walks around the park as well as a building to collect the coins from. This would greatly aid in coin production which would subsequently help food production and maybe help shrine work go a little faster. Imagine being able to earn enough coins for a beanstalk every few hours without the stress of emptying a plant habitat every 2 minutes.
That's a g-r-e-a-t idea! (have to spell it that way to avoid the auto-correct conversion to "fabulously gay idea").
Another wrinkle on that would be to keep friends the ability to collect your gold coins for you when they're gathering party hats. That would build some real alliances.
Poppy
That would be a great help as cos of my slow connection it takes about 90 mins to visit all my friends, and I haven't got loads, so I can't do it every day though I do try. So many dv things taking up time don't think any of us can have a life outside of here. Lol

First of all Welcome to the forum. This is a incredible idea! There has been mention of a wizard to collect DC but this goes way beyond that. Keep the ideas coming. Hope BFS gives us some of the things we would like to see.
I think making the islands them selves certain habitats would be great. I mean maybe have the option to keep the habitats or turn the island into which over habitat that you want that certain island to be. that would be great because the island could hold more dragons then the habitats themselves.

Welcome glad to have you!!! That would be great.. I mean an island full of panlongs or rainbows??? That would be cool!!!! With a 5 mil cap.. That would be great!!!!

I love some of the ideas people have exposed here, although I feel it would take some big re-scripting of the game engine to make some of them available.
I've been thinking about it. I think we need a major update soon, one that addresses some issues like people being stuck at level 30 for months! New dragons are great, but they only keep your attention for a week or two (or a day or two, as a matter of fact). So I think Backflip should focus the next update on some real upgrading, which may not be as flashy as a new dragon, but it would expand the horizon of the game towards new heights once again. So my proposal would be just an expansion of already in-game concepts:
* Levels 31-35 * 4 or 5 more habitats (gained with the new levels) * 1 more treat farm (gained with the new levels) * 7th island (gained at level 35) * Rares shrine, which would count Rainbow, LYD, Sun and Moon
New habitats as follow:
HABITAT. HOLDS. CAPACITY. AVAILABLE Huge Plant Habitat. 6. 10,000. Level 20 Huge Fire Habitat. 6. 50,000. Level 22 Huge Earth Habitat. 5. 150,000. Level 24 Huge Cold Habitat. 5. 125,000. Level 26 Huge Lightning Habitat. 6. 15,000. Level 28 Huge Water Habitat. 6. 75,000. Level 30 Huge Air Habitat. 6. 30,000. Level 32 Huge Metal Habitat. 6. 200,000. Level 34 Large Rainbow Habitat. 2. 1,500,000. Level 30 Large Sun Habitat. 2. 1,250,000. Level 30 Large Moon Habitat. 2. 1,250,000. Level 30
Something like that.
I think this is not a big revolution of the game concept, so it should be relatively easy to implement, but it would give us some expansion feeling, specially for those stuck at level 30.
Oh and give us more dragons, of course! ;D
New goal: Crown 5 more dragons. Treats needed: 26,214,400. Current treats: 14,000,000

Well thought out. I hope BFS is monitoring this thread. Changes along these lines would re-invigorate the game for a lot of level 30 players. As I've mentioned before, I've done pretty much everything with my park. But that's not even the main issue. The main issue is that my park is such a prodigious gold coin producer, even in less than optimal mode ((with 50 babies for example), that relatively small new updates, such as new dragons and decorations, are pretty easy to obtain. I've done a couple of level 20 dragons, which is fine, but that's essentially just a grind. I'd love to be challenged from a strategic point of view.

Exactly, that's the whole point. Even if yor are able to produce millions in a couple of hours, that doesn't really helps to level up. And since leveling seems to become exponencially more difficult with each new level, getting to level 35 would be a real challenge, even for those who have been months at level 30. Add to that some new things which get unlocked along the way and the game suddenly becomes interesting and challenging once again, cause you have some new goals to aim for. And just when you are working towards that new goal, a new dragon comes in and you have to change your strategy, that's the whole idea.
New goal: Crown 5 more dragons. Treats needed: 26,214,400. Current treats: 14,000,000

Demonioazul I really like your ideas. Not that I would abandon my DV, the shrine grind does not keep me excited. If I want to see gold shrines I go visit Poppy's DV. I am also very curious if those that have been stuck at level 30 forever will jump up levels with a new increase. I read where that happened to someone in the past.

I kinda hope that it does but at the same time I have been in lv 30 long enough that I would like the climb up.. So definitely have mixed feelings on this one..

Definitely this. Can you imagine how boring it would be to be instantly up to Level 35 ... and stuck there until the next big update?
Also, I don't think we need a new island. I'm having trouble filling 6 with the habitats I have.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you joined us. That is a great idea! I like a lot!
Really really really would like to in game message!!! A simple visitors book on the island would do so you could leave a message, thank for gems and comment on people islands/dragons. Seems weird that the game forces us to be social so we can get gems yet doesn't allow communication. This would really add to the game.

Like! It would be nice to know who's come for a visit.
I'd like to be able to purchase the "obstacles" back as movable decorations from the market. Placing rocks and trees that aren't red or yellow would be very nice.
BTW, I received notice from Backflip Studios the other day that they do monitor this thread and appreciate the ideas.
