So being new to the forum and trying to catch up on all the topics I have stumbled across the birthday gem. I would love to participate? How do ya know whose birthday it is to send a gem to? Of course I would like it to be my un-birthday gem so I can get them 364 days instead of just one. Is that okay*sipping tea at the tea party*

I just saw the calendar - very cool. My birthday (not til October) isn't shown either though. Was there a place to enter it in the profile? I often skip that sort of stuff until I get to know the people and know I'll be sticking around!

Seems to be a theme with some birthdays not showing on the calendar. I think it was one of the things you had to fill-in with registration. I'll be looking into it in the next couple days.

There are optional fields for birthday in the forum registration. If you don't fill them in, your birthday won't show up on the calendar, you won't get gems from DVC. You can set your birthday in your forum profile.

I filled in my birthday when I first registered, but it was marked as private. So figured that was why it didn't show. I changed it to public and it didn't add it to the calendar then.
