Not sure the kids are going to remember my birthday other than verbally. No sweet Thanksgiving jars for me!
But just in case you come back to modify, figured I needed to immortalize this.
For my part, we're doing Lego Kidsfest tomorrow, Red Robin for lunch, Club 4K on Sunday, Chuy's for lunch and swimming in the evening (one last hurrah for the kids before it all closes) and War Room on Labor Day. So I've already got a doubly full weekend and don't need more to do! Blue Bell got re-released just in time for my birthday! And we're having strawberry shortcake with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and Puyallup State Fair scones sometime this weekend (when my husband, who just finished his second week at his new job, finds time to make it.) Oh and our cousin had her daughter late last night. So my life is full.

DV-friends, Today I saw you had sent me those very nice and mowing birtdaygreetings - including such wonderful things as poems and special pics. I am so sorry I have not seen this before.
My life is so full with: Work - although I should be retired Travelling - both in work and for fun Writing on my articles Beeing caught by the police
The last one I would like to share.
On my 66 birthday I was driving through Sweden with a friend to attend a genealogical event. Suddenly a white car came upp behind me and started signalling with the lights. Suddenly there was also this blue colour. They forced me to the side, a policeman came and asked me if I was the one. Yes I said and today I am 66. I have had a drivers license since I was 20 and this is the first contact ever with the police. Come with me - he said.
In the policecar they explained: Your car is not allowed to drive! It has not been "examed" for two years.
Oh no ... I told them this must be wrong .. A s o.
It ended up in: you could be right. We call you on Thirsday.
When I came home I went through my old agendas, all my paper. Nothing. They were right.
In instantly wrote an sms apologizing I had not beleived them, and the car was taken care of.

What an eventful and memorable birthday - taking on the local constabulary and cake all in the same day! Are those lingonberries, strawberries, and pistachios topping that cake? Sinner/Cynner or no, that looks yummy! Where is my slice?

I'm sorry to hear of the drama filled and eventful birthday you had, but I guess it's memorable? P.s don't give the CYNner any cake! Being a valiant knight is hard work and a bit of cake will do an innocent man some good!

Thank you guys so much! I'm just about to head out to eat dinner with friends and family. I can't believe this is the 3rd birthday I have celebrated here, I feel so old! XP well, maybe not as old as some of you folks on here
