And I just want to check here, is there anyone interested in doing a Last Call type comp for Twins of epic or limited or opposite or golden hybrid or any other type of dragon? I was thinking of setting up something for the Diamond, but I guess it could work for anything.
Oh, and last idea, a speed breeding for a Twin Plant competition. We all pick a day/time when we are available and just keep going with 5 second breeds until we have a winner. lol

I've given this a lot of thought overnight. I thought the bearded and lotus are grandma and grandpa, the seasonal dragons (truly, a dragon for everyone!) are the mom and dads, and the seed dragons are the grand-children - but the baby lotus, bearded, and seasonal dragons make me doubt that interpretation. The number of footprints below seems likely for grandchildren, but I'm struggling with the house on the right and the (seemingly) empty plant habitat on the left.
This is fun!!

Spring dragons are all the grandchildren, seemingly with boundless energy and are all so youthful and full of life and soul. The bearded and Bouquet dragons are the grandparents and represent the heads of the family tree. The beautiful seasonal dragons are the parents, so adaptable between their parents and children, and still dominant and confident. The baby cotton dragons of the plant habitat in the left signifies new life on the way or perhaps even great grandchildren and the footprints is a double meaning: both the footprints of the children and the walk into the future of the children yet to come. The houses on the right represent life and how we all live, with Santa, love, but most importantly as part of the family tree!

I am enjoying your interpretations, but I have decided not to reveal the true interpretation for a day or two, to see if anyone else wants to take a guess.
Now to explain the symbolism on my Family Tree Island. To start off with, I'll mention the Winter Wonderland theme. My family has always had lots of fun outside playing in the snow. Also, where we live, the national forest and mountains behind our house are beautiful covered with snow. The house is important, because the house I have lived in for more than 20 years, is my great-grandfather's house (doesn't look at all like that one). The Snowy Trees represent the Christmas tree farm we lived on. Now for the dragons, I crowned the Bouquet and Bearded last August in honor of my parents. They had both died in August in the last decade. The baby Bouquet and Bearded represent my husband and myself as do the two Bed of Roses in the front. The Seasonal Dragons are for our 5 sons and 3 daughters as are the family footprints. The Sprouts do indeed represent the many grandchildren. I only wish I got to see them more often. jamesvaler was correct, the two baby Cottons represent the two grandchildren who will be joining our family in the next few months. I will be sending both EuroKnuter and jamesvaler a gem for guessing.

POTM. Beautiful. The trees i never would have guessed. But the whole island was so well tied together that it almost made me cry! And thanks for the gem!

I need to name ten Sakura Dragons for my newest island, and there is no way I'm doing that on my own, so I thought, why not have a little competition!
