With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post
and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On July 1st (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favourite thread. You'll have about a week to vote. So about the 7th of July we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. And now Crystals. The mods will give a gem and a crystal (if they're playing Gizmonauts) to both of the people that win the poll.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit.
an astute forum member posted the other day pointing out that the Bearded Dragon has the three different elements that the Bouquet Dragon has. While at first, I thought this was kinda neat, I have changed my mind now.
By virtue of the fact that Bearded and Bouquet don't share a common element, they cannot both inhabit the same habitat.
They are going to be lonely for each other, dontcha think? At least they can visit each other in the breeding case/island...
In what appears to be my rapidly advancing age I seem to do at least one stupid thing a day and one *really* stupid thing a week. (At least as near as I can remember.) It's probably a good thing if the *really stupid* one happens with DV or somesuch. Better than driving my car through the wall into my doctor's waiting room for example. (A good friend of mine actually did that. I told her she should have rolled down the window and announced that she was a little early.)
I could use a DV setting like this:
"Are you sure you that want to sell your Gift dragon?"
"Are you really, really sure that you want to sell your Gift dragon?"
"Are you sure this isn't this weeks really stupid moment?"

Yup, and I have many many Crystal-astic fails to show for it. Switched to Butterfly+Earth for a while, but also with no success. I am considering bagging that short term goal and moving on to another: maybe world peace?

I'm guessing someone here got their outposts address screwed up when they ordered their Nuclear bot, because it got delivered to me. I tried to return it, but they said I had to keep it.
POTM partly because it's so good to see you having this kind of success after the trouble you had with hydro.
