Every year the kids looked forward to decorate the X-mas tree during the Thanksgiving break. This year is no different. It's their tree, their decorations… I, other hand, am happy w/ setting up the nativity display. With two wood burning fireplaces, I set up the nativity scene on one side, and the other side will be fired up and use for roasting marshmallows, and chestnuts. We are hosting the X-Mas party this year, and expecting at least 16 adults, and 14 kids to trash the house w/ toys. There will be lots of cheers, laughs, presents, foods, drinks, and *erm* and a five years old, no doubt, will pound my piano w/ his heels. *ugh*. As I am typing this, my fingers just can't keep up w/ my thoughts, I realize how much I look forward to not only X-Mas, but also to 2015. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Absolutely stunning! Have never had roasted chestnuts, will have to have one someday. Our Christmas eve is very similar, just not in our house. When the grandkids come to visit we lock the piano cover and tell them we can't find the key, lol.
