I will be 55 on the16th. I am semi~disabled and thoroughly addicted to this game. My husband of 11 years, Errol, says I'm wasting my time. Lol. I live in Toronto Canada. We have 4 "furry children", 3 cats and a dog. Both my husband and I have had a previous marriage to other people. I have a 48 hour egg that will hatch on my birthday. I can hardly wait!
Well welcome most of our other halves feel the same way... Lots of head shakes!!!! And a big congrads on the rare... What are you wanting??
I'm 38 and currently reside in Sunny Townsville (Australia). I have been married for nine years but with my wonderful husband for 15 years all up. We have three chilreden.... Cheyenne (6), Sarah (4) and Asher (7 months). My husband is in the defence force so we move around a fair bit and I spend a fair whack of time on my own as well. He's actually away right now and I have become a little addicted to Dragonvale, in fact my iPad is never far from me so I can check up on everything as often as I feel I "need" to, lol.
Welcome ^_^ I actually live in mackay!! Hop skip and a jump away! Glad to see you found us here and welcome to our DV family!!

Welcome Trudy, thank you for sharing. 6, 4 and 7 months are the best years. Enjoy!
Greetings from Singapore. I am turning 38 in July. Married for 11 years with no kids. I have a 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Oreo. Been playing Dragonvale since Nov last year and am at Level 30. I love watching crime drama series.
Hello, Siewlin, welcome! My sister lives in Singapore. I enjoyed my visit there.

Welcome! And Happy Birthday! What a nice birthday gift. Do you know what the 48 hrs egg is?
Ask her where she's from - it's a small world you know and if she's from around my area it's likely we have connections!
Yes, I'm a great believer in the universe that's why I truly don't regret any mistakes in my past (and there have been many!) I do, however, hate when my mistakes affect innocents - but I guess sometimes you need that to truly learn as horrible as it may seem! I have one friend who is an alcoholic and I have said to him numerous times that my fear is not that he'll hurt himself but rather that someone innocent will suffer hugely because of his behaviour! Unfortunately I also think that that has to happen before anything changes there. I believe that People who die young have nothing left to learn and hence, there's some truth in the saying, only the good die young!
Wow, a bit philosophical tonight!
Just got an entire geography class of Croatia from my manager. She is very proud of her heritage. Her parents live in a small coastal town call Rabac Istria (Pula).
Hahaha! I'm sure you did! My village is on an island much further down the coast. If you find the centre of Italy and look directly across that's where I'm from (near sibenik). Your boss is right up the top.
I could not say he takes after you. . .looks wise, as you have a cartoon avatar. Therefore, the little I know, light color hair and good looks, must be from mom. . .he looks sweet

I am sweet as well! But yeah, he has a lot of his mom, of course. And BTW, what do you have against cartoon avatars? Fletch, take note...

Ok so I have been reading now since this started and you guys have some wonderful stories ,lives and marriages also some heartbreaking stories .you have brought tears , made me laugh and left me in complete awe ......to those who have lost children I send you love and hugs as that must be the most awful thing a parent can go through !!! my grandfather was so sad at the fact his two biological children died before he did the third child was my mum ,who he adopted at the age of nine as he lived on the same street as her family ,her mum was a drunk and she spent most of her time at my nana and granddads house anyway so when her mum kicked her out at 9 she went to live with my nana and grandad and never left ! Ignacio it's so heartwarming to hear you reconnected with your son after all that time and things are going so well ,and tommy I pray for the same for your family x x x
so I believe it's my turn ....... Ok my name is vicky im now 29 , 30 in july ,I was born and raised in Liverpool ,in the uk ,i had a pretty basic childhood with strict parents I lived with my mum and dad until I was eight when they split and I didn't want to choose who to live with ( yes they asked an 8 yr old child to choose a parent!!!) well I chose my grandad who was the kindest most caring ,loving person I knew ....and i lived with him until I was 12 when i moved back woth my mum but returned at 16 when I got my first job ,I did a lot of rebelling in my teen years which I regretted deeply ,but I straightened out in the end ! I moved out into a rented flat when I was 18 with Colin who I met at 17 through friends!as I lived around the corner from my grandad i could still help and looked after him by cooking cleaning and errands until he got ill in dec 2006 with a cancerous tumour blocking his bile duct and sadly died in jan 2007 i was heartbroken as he was my WORLD ,it was a dark time for me I stopped going out ,seeing friends, working i virtually became a hermit ! Within that time i had my first son brendan at age 19 and he helped a lot I've always said he was my light in a dark place !!! In that flat it was cramped as it was only a one bedroomed place but we were finally moved to a house (by the local council) everyone said new house new baby , i said nah no more for me (as brendan was 8 and we were happy with our little unit plus generally we couldn't afford more kids , and as he has tons of cousins to play with brendan didnt miss having a brother or sister ) but low and behold within the first month of moving in ,i was pregnant lol ,and we had samuel named after my grandfather we have struggled with money issues forever lol ,but we are rich in life and that's what matters me and my hubby have nothing but each other and our children but we are happy ,we strive to give our children all the things we never had and that they want ,and deserve ,I still am a borderline agoraphobic only leaving the house if someone is with me which is why I'm a stay at home mum my hubby works his arse off trying to provide , but no matter how many hours he works ( and believe me it's a lot ) it's never enough . we are always in debt and I feel so guilty that I should just get over my issues and go get a job but I still can't seem to do it I feel I have no value in a workplace as its been so many years since I've done anything like that I wouldn't know how !!!maybe I should be a cleaner lol I'm good at that .sorry if I have babbled I do that a lot and these are the reasons I have taken so long to respond as my story is pretty dull compared to some of you guys lol , but hey that's me Thanks for reading and sorry if I bored you ,also a massive thanks for sharing all your stories too !!!!
Vicky x x x
Thank you so much Vicky and your story is not at all dull! To me your story has been amazing so don't ever cut yourself short. You are a amazing woman. I think you would do a wonderful job in the workforce and it is all ready one heck of a job raising children and taking care of a family. Always remember riches have nothing to do with personal possessions as in my opinion they mean nothing...what really matter is family and friends.
