With the new month, comes a new installment of POTM. It works like this:
You find a post you like and you nominate it for Post of the Month. You do this by quoting the post and adding the comment "Post of the Month" or if you think you can't pull it off, simply "POTM". A Mod will move your POTM Reply to this thread. Conversely you can right click on the "Link to Post" at the bottom of each post and Copy Link Location. Then post in this thread with "Post of the Month" (or "POTM" if you think you can), right click in the thread and Paste. You cannot nominate your own post ... I mean c'mon ... that's just really lame ... no matter how cool/funny/clever/poignant you think you were. Each post can only be nominated once. The first person to do so gets the nod. On September 1st (or thereabouts, I mean, we're all working folks here, well most of us) we'll make a Poll with all the nominated threads and everyone here will be invited to vote for their favorite thread. You'll have about a week to vote. So about the 7th of September we'll have a winner, or more accurately, two, because the original poster AND the person who nominated them wins. What do you win? Gems of course. The mods will pay the winners.
So, to sum up. - Make good posts. - Nominate good posts. - Vote for posts. - Profit.

I am bringing back an old topic/discussion, my thoughts may be jumble, as I am pressed for time, and I think much faster, than I type...(Dont know if anybody even remember the posts/conversation), maybe BS does.
At the time of the discussion between an army of Soltice Vs. an island of DRs, I did my own calculation and the break even point for them was at around 152 days (I remember 1/2 year vividly, for some reason 152 days stuck w/ me), but not a year like someone may have believe.
I basically solved for X. X equals to the break even point, and it would take aprrox. 152 days for DRs to catch up to Soltice. After that DRs. will surpass Soltice in earning.
I did not share my calculation because
- I was new - My chicken scratch hand-writing was on a letter size paper, and it meant I had to redo it a presentable manner - How this member arrived at a year time frame did not sit right w/ me, so I did one for ME, out of curiosity, nothing more. - Dont think anyone would care as we all play differently.
You approach is not bad at all. Your Drs. have earned you so much DC already.

I was not saying climo should not breed DR together, just to be aware that there is a cost. There always is when you breed two dragons. For example, from an earnings perspective, it is better to breed Shadow rather than Drift when trying for Dream as it earns much less, so the cost of breeding is less. The comment was more directed at newbies who may not realise this.
Personally, I used to fret about optimizing earrings, but I don't anymore. But I am aware of the issues, and point them out now and again for the benefit of new players who may not have realised the unintended consequences of their actions.
Really? Just how does one go about optimizing "earrings". Have made "earrings" for many years, out of many materials, but have never come across a need or a customer requiring optimization.
Your ipad lacks a fence? Mine doesn't have one either, but I know better than to try to optimize earrings. You have very strange notions... I think you desperately need to try that dragon-free diet. It will do wonders for you.

Okay, for those who may still be wondering what it looks like when you toy around with three Twilight Towers, i finally got around to taking and uploading a good handful of pics!

You can easily make a DV t-shirt yourself (you need a color inkjet though)
Buy a t-shirt and wash it Create a picture on your PC with the DV characters, you can get the pictures out of the wiki Buy a foil that you can print on and which can be fused on the t-shirt Print the picture Fuse it on the t-shirt And voila
I've done this for my daughter with pictures of her guinea pig. The foil sticks well to the shirt, even after several turns of washing.
I already chewed over making a DV t-shirt... But when should I wear it ? My family already thinks that I'm crazy, and a 46 year old wearing stuff like this at work ....?!
