Edit: I now see that they look a little different. The one on the right doesn't have the large snowflakes. I think this is similar to the gemstone habitat situation. Upon event completion, you'll be able to purchase snowflake habitats that look almost the same but DO take up a habitat slot. Atleast I assume so. I mean think about it... what if someone wanted to display 8 snowflakes? They'd have to allow more habitats. Yeah... that makes sense.
I just got the snowflake habitat prize, which unlocked the regular habitats in the market.
1 million DC each, and they do take up a habitat slot. The special one doesn't, I checked.
50 gems for 3 decorations is really pricey (the other 6 included aren't being counted since they can be bought for dragoncash), considering the fact that 25 gems can buy a giant habitat which is actually functional in the game. I understand all the other things they've implemented to increase in all purchases, this I don't. I'm dreading to find out if this is a start of a new pattern for the next holiday.

Did we have a collection event during BeB last year? I don't remember one but my memory isn't what it used to be. I love BeB and am enjoying the Iceberry event but I wish it was one or the other.

Adding to that that it DOES take up a habitat slot unlike the reward one. (Also visually it doesn't have the large snowflake adornments that the reward one has)
The problem is that he waits for me ina portal, I find him and he disappears. Constantly. Has anyone done the math yet to see what we re gonna need it buy. (I don't want the additional winter thing, but everything else I want, duh!)

SWEET! I didn't even know they made such a thing!!! Dang, I'm going to the store tonight and buying one! (no, I didn't go buy myself an iPad this past weekend, I was too busy finishing Christmas shopping and one of my kids' birthday festivities). I'm having a little better luck finding him, though. The trick to edit the paths has helped a lot. I have some pretty crowded islands in order to have one of everything on display. What I hate is clicking on him while I'm still in path-editing mode and then he teleports, the stinker! LOL

This has happened to me, too. Freaked me out the first time, thought I was going to lose my berries. Logging out, closing the app and then coming back in (Android) resolved it.
I agree with ukwildcats4ever. I have found sandals exactly once. Despite ignoring what I should be doing and spending most of yesterday looking. It is rapidly pushing me into " bah. Stupid game" and quitting altogether.

Same here! I immediately force closed it, and restarted. Now it's fine. Hopefully it stays that way.

I haven't noticed scrambled menus, but yesterday on my Android park, all the dragons were just white silhouettes flying around. That was definitely different. I had to restart the phone to fix the problem.

We're considering what to do differently, if anything, in light of the new splash page that states that Level 20 dragons have better odds of breeding rare dragons. If we're trying for a second Panlong (just got the first; only Apocalypse to go and then we'll have all but this Goodies event five), we're thinking that increasing the odds of getting a Rainbow or even a DR would not be such a good thing. Not sure how BFS defines "rare" in this context. We'd love to hear how others are thinking about this.
I used a level 20 panlong and level 20 blazing on the island to get a second panlong. I think there were a couple of epic fails and some regular hybrid fails, shorter ones, but it wasn't bad at all. Last year it took FOREVER (almost the whole beb in one breeding site) to get the first one.
