Hey guys, does anyone know if you can legitimately breed the Gift dragon during BeB?
You should be able to. I mean, in the Dragonarium it's "Available" and all. Though I think you'll get one if you wait until tomorrow when we'll get dragons with the gem gifts (along with probably a coal and, something else?).
Edit: Also, I just got the habitat and I thought I'd mention that the build time for both the reward one and the regular one is just thirty seconds

The Gift Dragon is usually not available to breed right away. You have to wait until BFS gifts them out in order to be able to breed them. That was the case previous years, and seems to be the case this year despite it saying available in the Dragonarium.
Edit: If you look in the Dragonarium, you can see that the hourglass symbol is not green, meaning it is not available.

Do you think we will get a double iceberries weekend or a double iceberries Christmas ? I would go with doubles on 24/25/26 ! But then I'm in the same dilemma as usual : the start will probably be around 19:00 local time for me. But the colosseum will be ready at 12:15 PM. Should I wait with the colosseum and earning DC and treats until the evening ? Maybe I loose half a day time for colosseum and it will be difficult to earn any DC or treats because then I will definitely not play DV but celebrate with my family.

If we're trying for a second Panlong (just got the first; only Apocalypse to go and then we'll have all but this Goodies event five), we're thinking that increasing the odds of getting a Rainbow or even a DR would not be such a good thing. Not sure how BFS defines "rare" in this context. We'd love to hear how others are thinking about this.
I used a level 20 panlong and level 20 blazing on the island to get a second panlong. I think there were a couple of epic fails and some regular hybrid fails, shorter ones, but it wasn't bad at all. Last year it took FOREVER (almost the whole beb in one breeding site) to get the first one.

so as I just started on January of last year, I have few dragons.... As in as opposed to you guys. I had neither a leap year, nor a Panlong. So... Thinking I could hit two birds with one stone, as they say, I preceded to breed my level 15 obsidian and rain dragon. I checked the timer...29 minutes... So it see,s lvl 15 does make a significant change...
bingoooo... I got myself a panlongon my first ever try.... Oh Yeah oh yeah!
tis the season to be jolly fa la la la la la la la la!
and I just got the first egg pedestal... Oh how marvellous!

Some observations of Sandakloz, please post your observations. It all happens kinda quick, so I'm not sure if I have all of my facts strait.
I think I've found him 6 times in a day, not sure what the cap is I think he's findable every 2 hours (give or take) If I find him and he zaps out, I've only ever seen him again during that session on the SAME island (not sure if this is coincidence or not)
Where I find him most often: If the habitats and decorations are too close, there are very few visitors - can you trap the portals to find him easier? Visitors seem to congregate on the islands with more dragons.
Given the above two observations (at least I think this is true), I find him mostly on 3 different islands where there are lots of dragons and lots of space I have yet to see him on 4 of my islands where there are either no dragons or there is a ton of clutter.
Anyone else have observations to share?

Sandakloz caps at 4 per day.
I have never found him on the Easter Event Island, but I'm pretty sure he has showed up on all my other islands at some point.
He seems to teleport away pretty quickly if he gets stuck anywhere, so I'm not sure if trapping him is actually a good idea.
I find he's very easy to locate on my islands with stone and marble paths. The red really stands out against the gray/white. I imagine he would be difficult to locate on a fire theme island...

Already did my collection early this morning and used Kairos. I would've been able to get my first snowflake dragon if I had waited 2 more hours. Oh well, I hope to see some consistent pattern for this in the next upcoming weeks.

If this replaces double weekends then I'm in trouble, I was already close on getting all the reward items and if this is one of 6 double days then The 92 iceberries I just didn't get could end up costing me big time.

Honestly, I won't be at all surprised if this event includes a few more double days than average as a means to help compensate for peoples busy holiday schedules.
But I'll still be chipping BFS a little cash now that double iceberries have arrived

Advice For Players Who Collected Before Double Iceberry Bonanaza
Breeding Collect - selling/hatching from Nursery
Can still sell enough to get to 80 Iceberries total for the day.
Party Hats - collecting party hats at friends' parks
If you visited 2 parks already, visit a third and get 10 more Iceberries so you get 20 total for the day.
Obstacles - clearing obstacles
If you cleared 5 already, then clear ONLY 3 more. The ratio will come out as 4, 4, 2 to make the total for the day 20.
Habitat Collect - collecting Iceberries from full Habitats.
It doesn't seem like these can be "made up" so it might be a "loss" of 40 iceberries for the day.
Treat Collect - collecting Iceberries from Treat farms.
It doesn't seem like these can be "made up" so it might be a "loss" of 40 iceberries for the day.
Finding Sandakloz - find Sandakloz for iceberries
I am unsure about this, but it doesn't seem like iceberries collected from any of the 4 possible visits which were collected before Double Iceberry Bonanza can be "made up"
Gifts From Friends - gifts in the Gift section of the Social Menu
Any sent before Double Iceberry Bonanza remain at 10 iceberries per friend gift.
Colosseum - collecting from the Colosseum
This can't be "made up"
Gem Use/Spent - spending gems on speeding up/habitat upgrades
The most for the day you can get from this is 80 iceberries If you have 40 already, you can get 40 more
Something interesting with the BEB event, I am bringing it up because I haven't seen it mentioned yet on the forum. Along with dragons and decorations that can now be obtained...I was able to purchase a 'lost island'. It was a little spendy...1,500 gems. But I didn't have much else to spend them on ( and on a double day ). I got the clue from the Visitors message, when checking on Sandakloz. It said more islands will bring more visitors. It is the island I missed out on at the Easter Egg event. I was pretty happy about that, something I regretted not going for previously.
