Probably not this year. Possibly next year, same as they did with the Lost Island and the Tower this year. But expect it to cost a ridiculous amount of gems.
My partner was only going for the 2nd snowflake but is now disappointed she will be about 1000 short of the treatery too.

The Treatery allows you to gift 3 friends with treats. The amount of treats depends on the receiver's park level.
While the event is on, gifting treats also gifts berries. If future events allow you to gift event currency along with gems and treats as with this Winter event, the Treatery would come in quite handy. This last part isn't confirmed though, so you should probably base your decision solely on the ability to gift treats.

The treatery allows you to send treats similar to how you send gems. I've sent a bunch out over the last couple of days, but no idea if anyone's received them. Haven't gotten any myself, so no clue if it's actually working. It's not something I would have spent money to reach, and had it been the final prize, I wouldn't have bothered pushing hard to earn it.
The Dragonsai bush, on the other hand, I wanted badly. I have zero idea how I managed it, but I actually finished this morning. So at least that gives me another gem to distribute daily...my friends from here are so generous, and I hate feeling like I'm behind on returning the favor! Wish DV would let us buy a second Dragonsai tree.
Hopefully all of you still trying to reach a specific goal get what you want. Much koala to all!

It is up to you to decide to spend real life money or not. Personally I like to send BFS a small payment now and again as a thank you. I have made a small purchase of iceberries in both my parks for that reason. As far as I know, my wife has not.
What the treatery does is it allows you to send up to three friends a day treats. This is completely separate to the gems. So you can send the same three both gems and treats. Or you can send three people gems (more if you have the tree of course) and a different three treats.
The number of treats is set by the level of the RECIPIENT's park not yours. I did see someone, ElektronX I think, post the details of the system BFS uses but I can't find it at the moment. 20% of one of the purchases I think, but I don't remember which one.

I just turned in my last 1302 berries, avoiding a 4th xmas theme lol. Glad this will be over and Santa can go back home and start working for next Xmas and does no longer have to wander around our islands!
Thought I'd point out that up until the treat gifting from the treatery, you could only have multiples of 5 as your total treat amount. Now you can have any number, seeing as you get gifted multiples of 2, and farm multiples of 5. In fact, for those OCD enough to want a ballpark treat number, like 10,000,000 treats, for example (I've done such just a couple times), it can now be impossible to get, without waiting for more treat gifts. If I had 9,000,007 treats, for example, I can't farm to get exactly 10 million treats. 9,000,007 treats used to be an impossible amount to have, though. The number would always end in 5 or 0.
Not really complaining... just thought I'd mention this change.
Any ideas when that is relative to GMT, for us in the UK and Europe?
During Winter, UTC is GMT.
UTC is the time reference. It what used to be called GMT. Not quite sure why they changed it, but UTC is now used for reference and GMT is used for English time.
Now why do I know that when I am in UTC+11 and you are presumably in UTC +0?
As said, GMT and UTC refer to the same thing timezone.

I was re-reading this thread, looking for info on Snowflakes 3&4, when I saw this post, Buffy. Are you really able to play DV on a TV?? If so, please tell me how. I might even let my husband get that new tv he wants, if I can play DV on it!
Finished off the major rewards for this event, and then spent about three hours rearranging things (especially to finally do something with the fence pieces).

I got the Treatery tonight, and wasn't expecting to be able to get it... But no wy will I manage the 900+ iceberries to get the bush in less than 6 hours, especially when I maxed out to get the Treatery...

Just collected 12 berries from Sandakloz for the 3rd time tonight, so it looks like doubles are still going strong (have reloaded park several times since the scheduled expiration). Market says deals are "expired" but still shows the doubled quantities; not sure what would happen if I bought berries. All very strange. Hopefully this will help some of the people who were close to a goal make it over the top. Sure beats the glitches from last time

If I could, I would make you a trade to help us both out. I already have plenty of treats, and I don't mind extra themes since I really like the white themes. (I almost bought the cold theme bundle.) I am at 946 berries and no uncollected gifts at the moment. I wasn't trying to get another theme, I just ended up with that many berries. If it were possible, I would happily trade with you with no tricks attached.
