Epic Egg Hunt Event - 3/12 - 4/7 - FINISHED!

Is it just me or has the event ended already?!?

In the park, the event ended and the event island is gone, whatever eggs I've collected became treats and I received the end-of-event decoration?!?

Please tell me something is up!!

My event ended too! Hopefully it isn't actually over, I still need to get enough eggs for the two dragons. I almost had enough for the first one...

My son's Epic Egg Hunt is still working and it says that the hunt ends on April 6th.

Yeah, lots of people on the FB groups and Dragonvale FB page reporting the same thing. Thanks for the heads up, I won't log in for a while

It's not over! Mine says it ends on April 6 (didn't they originally say April 3?)

I saw various messages about the event ending for some people on the wiki as well.

I messaged Backflip about it but I don't expect to hear back until tomorrow at the earliest.

The game runs fine for some, but not for others.  Do you think it has to do with the latest DV update?  I haven't logged on my game since 4:00 PM CT.

Fortunately my event is still on, but what happened is simply awful! I wonder how they will solve this. I've been playing the game all along, not knowing that something wrong was happening. I updated the game yesterday. Could it be related to that?

So far 2 pple downloaded the latest update and their games are fine. The last time I logged on my game was 5hr ago. It was fine then. And I have not dl the update. I am afraid to log on now.

I need more data, pleasssee.

I had already updated my game beforehand. I just logged in and everything seems to be working for me.

Hope that all of the lost eggs in other's parks will be accounted for

I think mine auto-updated since when I go the app store it doesn't say "Update" and just says "Open".

I'm not really sure what the best strategy is now. I visited some parks and the event island is gone. In other parks everything looks fine. I don't know if there is a logical explanation for this. How long has this problem been going on?

The awkward moment when you waste all of your 800 gems on speeding up eggs to re-breed for an Ovalith. And, you still don't get one.....

I updated my ipad and my phone earlier today, and the event is still going strong in my parks. I didn't even know that there was an issue until I logged on here tonight. That is terrible news. If the last update was put out to keep this from happening, it should have specifically stated that in the info section, and it should have been posted on facebook that people needed to update so that their event wouldn't end early. Hopefully, the fact that those things didn't happen means that BFS was unaware of the problem and that the update ended up fixing it anyway??? It does seem that those who updated did not have the event end early.

I just checked the DV Facebook page, and apparently someone installed the update, but the event still ended early for her. Perhaps we need a little more data for us to decide whether or not the update would prevent the glitch.

There were non-app store updates which happened since the App Store bug fixes update.


Equinox Dragon and Astrovane did leave today and Solar Eclipse Dragon and Umbral Eclipse got a last call.


I don't think the 2.9.1 update caused this glitch/bug.
