Oh, thanks. I thought that I had thought (Thought that I had thought? Does that even make any sense?) of that last thing, but of course I hadn't. Thanks for pointing that out. As for the obstacles, no. I should've thought of that as well. I think I have enough obstacles for five or six days at most (Edit: I seem to have obstacles for seven days exactly). And also, I wouldn't count on getting full eggs on the last day. What time did the other events end?
I don't really think I need to, but I'll do some more calculations just for fun (and who knows, somebody else might be in a similiar situation to me). This time, I'll do the calculations correctly. In the rest of the post I'll treat this day like it hasn't started yet, and I'll assume that we get three more double days.
I need 3384 eggs. There are 13 days worth of eggs left.
Eggs I can get consistantly: 60 from gifts 40 from dragon eggs 36 from DC 34 from treats 30 from the colosseum 20 from questing 15 from golden eggs 10 from hats = 245 total
245 * 13 = 3185
Other egg sources: 70 in total from obstacles, 100 if I save the last ones for the doubles.
3185 + 100 = 3285 3384 - 3285 = 99
I will need to get 99 gems from eggs.
If my assumptions were correct and I can get a full amount of eggs on the last day, I will easily get the final reward.

1/3 of my gem buddies pause their games on the weekend, rightfully so, but during an event? . Maybe few more eggs from farming and DC collection...I am still short a few eggs. Life is cruel from 11:40 - 11:42 on this beautiful Sat's morning.

in the last couple of day, I lost all eggs collected... Every mornig I check the conter and is 92... I gewt my first monolith dragon three day ago, and i should get my second pedestal today, but all eggs are gone... I used to turn in eggs only when I get the prize, so I can count as many eggs I need for the next prize, so I lost almost 600-700 eggs I dont know if I'm involved in the last superGlitch...
Still me I'm still waiting for answer... I didn't received any eggs/gift/everthing, so I supposed not involved in the Glitch But I LOST eggs... Now I turn eggs as soon I collect, but I should have my second pedestal and working for my second dragon... Sorry if this is not the rigth place to post

A double weekend over Easter should get me their easily.
My new baby park will be close to the wire for getting the second monolith. The ability to quest now at Level 16 will help a great deal, and thanks to those that have friended me to give more gifts. Received the first Monolith last night with 2600 remaining on second pedestal/2nd Monolith. 217 a day or there a bouts should get me there. I think I will make it … as long as we have a second double weekend.
With that in mind, I think an event with 4 weekends, with the first and last weekend as the double is the perfect way to run the event. Start and end with a sprint with a bit of a marathon in the middle. What does everyone else think?

agree re the format of this event it's worked well. I think key is the pacing of the eggs required for each reward. Too many you get bored too few not challenging enough. I do like the inal weekend to be 'eggciting'!

Why are you doing 36 from DC and 34 from treats when you can get 40 of each? Perhaps you don't get 40 consistently on DC, but with the 30 second treats, you should be able to squeeze out the 40 on treats consistently. This makes it 255/day, rather than 245. Or leaving DC @ 36, then 251/day.
This nets you another: 10 * 13 = 130 or 6 * 13 = 78 (if going with reduced DC).
From the 99 needed, then you will either be over (99 - 130) or almost there (99 - 78 = 21). Granted you have to adjust since there aren't 13 days left now.

I got Monolith 2 at Park 1. The first breeding with Monolith 1 and Monolith 2 gave 20 hour. I will wait until tomorrow to find out whether I got 3 or 4.
I agree with grinding for treats. By the time I get home, dinner cooked and over with and the family settled its between 7-8 before I get to DV. What I found works for me is to grow/harvest until it slows down and stop. I start again at lunch and the remainder before it resets. It resets so late 11pm Pacific time, that I just wait until the morning to start. I can usually get 30-34 before I leave for work.
I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue. My fire dragon is stuck in the colosseum. Been there since Friday morning. I click on the check mark but nothing happens. Did all the usual troubleshooting and sent BFS an email. Just wondering if anyone else has a dragon locked in the colosseum yelling to be let out. lol

How is that even possible? The maximum is 365 eggs per day, and we're only on day 18. Even with the double days, you'd still be about 1000 short.

I agree that I'm often maxing out at around 30 treats unless I have a hour to kill doing nothing but growing Dragonsnaps. The rest of the rewards have been going well, and I'm averaging around 70 friend gifts per day. Right now I'm at around 600 eggs, working on the 2nd Monolith dragon, but I doubt I'll get the Relic. I'm only about 50million from buying my 11th island, though, so we'll see what happens once I have obstacles to clear!

I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!
I am not recording what I get, but I do think I come close to maxing treats. I also have about 10 Billion in DC to work with. When I first go into DV in the morning, I hatch my Pumpermelons and grow a couple of rounds of Sarjin Peppers and Dragon Snaps. I have 6 huge treat farms and 5 large treat farms. Then I grow Zazzberries, or often Beanstalks in the huge treat farms. I am able to go into my park often, so whenever I get around to it, I hatch those and grow more Zazzberries and/or Beanstalks. When I have time and feel like it, I do another round or two of Sarjin Peppers and Dragon Snaps. I know I don't go in every 30 minutes, but when I do go in, my treats are always done and I can grow more. This way I don't feel like I am grinding for my treats because I spread it out throughout the day, and the plus side is I am able to collect DC often, so my DC has stayed about the same. When I am done for the day, I grow Pumpermelons for overnight.

Agreed I rarely get full on treats and dislike grinding so I don't.
