Wouldn't it be cool if the event island would become sort of a portal after the event ? Maybe to launch a completely new Park ? (DV 2.0) I think that it looks totally different from all the stuff we have had up to now.
In this event it will get a bit harder to get all prizes without real money. I have no obstacles left, the colosseum only gives 25 instead of 30, and friend gifts only 5 instead of 10. Luckily the fallen stars give 30 instead of 15 for the golden egg.
Is anyone else experiencing the problem that there are no more sounds ? Normally I have turned my ipad to mute but sometimes I like to have the sound. But there isn't any in my park at the moment. (Checked the options and the ipad sound) Should deleting the game and download it anew solve the problem ?
Yeh, this is the first island which doesn't look like the others, in that it is not all one island and it is a different sort of texture, much more futuristic and mechanical than natural.
hmmm that sound problem is very strange. As with most DV problems, I suggest logging in from another device. It might just be how your device "communicates" with the app. As for deleting and reinstalling, I say it's worth a try...

Crumble, i found out that when i have a sound problem in whatever app, rebooting the device does bring it back. Also, do not forget about that little button next to the sound button on right bottom side of your i pad, so many time i have inadvertendly turned the sound of with that.
I've had the sound problem. On my iPad ill be playing, sound will be there, then it's not. Usually takes me a bit to realize it's gone in my noisy house. I close out the app and restart it to get it back. Weird.

Well it has been 3 days since I was able to get into my game. Yep! 1 day behind in the event. I am flooding BFS with emails. Every hour. lol! Strange thing is, they always respond promptly and when my game crashed during the last event, they had it fixed and running quickly. This time, nothing. Just the usually we received your email response.
I have confiscated my grandsons game. He abandoned it a few years back, and although it's not on the level of my park, and I am not starting from scratch, it needs a lot of work. I have tried to keep up with it, but RL gets in the way of playing 2 parks as one. Only thing missing is I didn't play the last event like in my game so no second monolith or relic. Not concerned because dUring BEB I can get them.
I think my issue is that I have 1of every elemental dragon at L20. 1 of every epic at L15. 5.7 B DC, 3000 saved gems, and 110+ million treats. 3 years of dedication to get there and planning. I hate to lose it. But it is just a game, so moving on!
I love the event. I saw some posts about the purchasing the twilight tower. I would buy it. I really like. I change my sky all the time. Even now. From dusk to night to dawn to day, very pretty.
On what is now my second park I can give gems to 4 people. First 4 to send a friend request via Game Center to wildskull6 I will accept. Be sure to state its dragonvale. I gem everyday. Would love some friends at this park.

I sincerely sympathize with you. Give BFS all the heck that you can. I hope they can get you back into your game and provide you with some lost star dust.

I have that switch configured to lock rotation rather than mute the speaker since mute is available in Control Center or by simply using the volume button to turn volume all the way down. Three separate ways to mute your speaker seems a bit like overkill!

I don't think it is my iPad as I can play my grandsons game on mine. Also my friends cannot see my park if they try to visit. Here is the error message: We're sorry. It seems a wizards spell went wonky in your park. Please reload while we try to handle this. We have been notified about the problem.

I used to have set that button to rotation control too. Didn't even know that it could be set to sound control. I must have changed it unintentionally. Have set it back now (after a quick search where to do it)

I'm torn. I want to add lanterns all around my park because the glow coming from them is just magical - for me, at least. But doing so might make it harder to find the fallen Stardusts. Hmmm...
Add them, then put them into storage and pull them out later.

Your case is one isolated case. You have mentioned you crowned 1 of every dragon that could be crowned, right? Can that be the reason? I am not a comp sci person, the program "crashed" because it doesn't know what to do next?
FWIW, I put a single path tile next to the portal on each of my islands. That way, I can quickly find it and go into 'edit path' mode to search for stardust.

Anyway, the Star Fall event is clever and awesome! I am enjoying the look and the music! It seems the play strategy has evolved and I have lots to learn. I wasn't able to complete the Easter event, But with so many tips and tricks shared here, I am hoping this time I will.

Wouldn't it be so amazingly cool if the large meteor in the corner is an incoming celestial habitat complex for Zodiac or other cosmic type dragons? Less like a Death Star, more like an Arc Star. Oh well, one can only wish, ... ... ... when you wish upon a star, .... (sigh)

The Lightning island has lightning flashes at the base, the water island has little sparkles appearing and disappearing in the pools, etc. Anybody else notice that?

They've always had effects, but perhaps they've changed them? My fav is a little green lizard that crawls around the Earth theme. :-)

Definitely sounds like BFS to me! I'm afraid the only way to get it fixed seems to be if BFS do it. Just to make sure, do you use GC elsewhere, In other games? Is Gamecentre working?
Maybe you might want to try over and over deleting and reinstalling the app. With the new updates with the events, the app may have fixed the problem itself. Buffy the program would not have crashed due to tpring having crowned one of every dragon, as BFS must definitely have made sure that you can do that without crashing the park.

Im in trouble. Just got 35 hours in the cave and 30 hours (diamond dragon! Yay!) in the island. So i dont think i can get my 40 from eggs for 2 days. Does buying a primary dragon egg work?

I think they're low pointers. I know for instance that Plant or even a hybrid like Lava or Tree brings 2 points. I don't know the whole scale, though.
That said, welcome, bananbiffen, and redrock, even though this may be OT -- did you know there really IS a moon that looks like an abandoned Death Star? (Could it be...)
jamesvaler, I love your (not so new now) avatar. First time I saw it, I had a mental image of platoons of Solar Eclipse dragons eclipsing suns across galaxies (in ancient pixels, much like they used to in Space Invaders).

Just breed two plant dragons over and over until you reach the total of 40 stars. Each breed takes 30 seconds and so does the incubation. Takes a few minutes but is easy and does not cost much at all.

Crumble, am glad I could help and you can enjoy the music again. For my part i listened a few minutes and then turned it over lol. Just the sounds is enough for me.
