Co-op Cave and Twins

I toured friends to see what initial galaxy dragons they have and pick up the breeding times, here they are: (list from Dragonarium)
Antarian 16 hours
Arcturian 6 hours
Bizurian 8 hours
Polariab 28.5 hours
Sorarian 45 hours

I received an Arcturian Dragon. Breeding with Nogard's Polariun Dragon, got 9 and half incubation time.

It looks like this new breeding cave is a russian roulette, you can get anything from any pairing. Breeding two galaxy dragons do not automatically give you another galactic.

Your initial galactic needs to be levelled to level 4 to be able to breed AND to be picked up by your friends to be bred with yours. Some sort of activation as galactic of dreaming parks are of no use.

Hmm, I sped up my 19hr, turned out to be a twin Gamma dragon, but when you look at the dragon details, the dragon pic has a yellow border....

UGH. The two rare dragons for Galaxy I see in my lineup are BOTH with friends that I am pretty sure do not play anymore!

I sped up another 8 hr breed, and bred my L15 Antarian with Kydolind's (I think) L15 Polarian, and got a 16 hr breed time.

Here's hoping my second Antarian is on the way.

I *think* that while you have a breed going, you can mark another dragon as available for someone else to breed with. Though when your own breed finishes, it drops back to only one of the 2 being available.

So I remarked Mono1 as available

Maybe a match making post might be in order?

Also if someone is breeding with your marked dragon does it inactive the dragon in your park? Ie. It doesn't earn dragoncash, can't be used in racing, the colosseum, quests or be used to breed with someone else?

I just brought ice and a veggie tray.

I updated and have an Antarian... I was following the tutorial obediently and saw the list to breed with, but DV crashed. Heading back in got me back to the "tap on the cave" instruction, though.

Thanks Aunt K, first try Galaxy breeding monolith 1s resulted in a River fail but second try I have a Mono3 or Mono4 incubating for the next 25 hours! Lucky day!

Ugh...nearly all the rarest Galaxy dragons among my friends are in dormant parks. I sense a conspiracy. LOL

That said, my own dormant baby park got a Sorarian, so I logged in briefly and fed it. As that park is a level 19 with no plans to advance it further, that dragon is maxed out at level 10, but if anyone needs a Sorarian to breed with, you can add VP_2006 in Game Center. (That's an underscore between the letters and numbers.)

WARNING: This park doesn't exchange gifts, gems, etc. It's tiny (3 islands, not a whole lot of habitats & no real decorating), so it's useful for visiting. I literally never go near it, and wouldn't now except for making this available where I can. I'm also rarely logged into that GC account, but I'll check it a few times a day over the next few so that I can accept friend requests--after that, I'll probably remove the name from this post as I'd hate friend requests to be going unanswered.

I just sped up my Antarian/Polarian pairing and seem to have a Polarian. Once I understand which dragons are rarest, if I have one, I can put it up.

I got an arcturian and here is the egg so that you can identifiy it, 6 hours breeding.
The two other eggs are a twin which i got with the big nozard (or whatever) and it is a golden olympic.
The other circled egg is the twin i got from my friend and which is an Ember.

No problem! Figured it might help a few people while we are still in the starting phase of this new setup.

Sped several breedings in my main park and got nothing of interest, so I'm forcing myself to wait it out.
