Harvest Moon it is!
Your love for everything sea-related is very evident with your user name. I’ll hazard a guess that your House is Icy Torrent, unless you don’t care for the cold. Although, if you’re at level 24 you haven’t discovered the Rift yet, so perhaps you don’t know what I’m talking about.
FYI: you can still breed dragons that are locked due to your park level. After you breed it, it’ll be sent to the Gifts section of your Social menu. When you reach the required level, you can claim it and start the incubation process. Regardless, I have Harvest Moon up in the co-op. He does very well in the races when plant, earth, or water is one of the requested elements. What a keeper!

Sorry to hear about the bad run of luck. I’ve never had much success speed breeding with gems. This game always feels like an enormous lesson on patience, and there’s no short cuts around that.
I still have Harvest Moon in the co-op and will likely keep it there until the next event, unless someone requests another dragon. Hopefully your fortunes will change!
On a separate note: have you considered forum membership? I think you’ll find it extremely agreeable and a perfect way to start a weekend.

A quick tip for finding the combo for these limited dragons is to look at the elements of the pedestal. Of course this only works if it is not a locked combo. So far there have been only elements.
P.S. I have an Elder Earth up if any friends want to try for Vanguard together.

If you leave Darcowl in that would be great. I have an overnight breed going in the other park, so very happy with Darcowl.
