Buffy I emphatically disagree with the first half of your statement. While I completely agree that you are kind, I absolutely disagree that you are nice. You are the complete opposite of nice. Hmmm...maybe you don’t know the etymology of the word nice... very well, I will show you how ‘not nice’ I am and tell you. The word nice comes from two Latin roots that mean ‘no knowledge’. You are most definitely not ignorant, and therefore you are not nice. I felt it was my duty as your friend to set the record straight. I can’t let anyone slander my friends that way.

We all learned the meaning of the word nice at a conference. Kydolind learned it so well, that any time one of us used the word nice, which I did quite often, he would ask if I was calling something stupid. The funniest time was at a co-op writing class that I was assisting with. The teacher, who was a friend of ours, asked each one in turn to read their paper. Kydolind read his paper, and the teacher said, "Nice, very nice." Immediately Kydolind responded, "Are you calling my paper ignorant?" Her expression was priceless as she responded "What is that all about?" The class, including the teacher, all had a good laugh when we explained it. By the way, I don't use the word nice as often anymore.

thats interesting about the origins of ‘nice’; it means ‘Mrs Brown’ of Mrs Browns Boys, uses it correctly when s/he uses it at the wanna be upwardly mobile mother of her daughter in law 😂 i trained myself to copy, because of the hidden thorns; “that’s nice” when someone is being a pain 😈
But how did it become convoluted into a ‘pleasant’ common meaning I wonder, or did we all just start taking it at face value and forget the sting?

Hey folks, how's it all going. Back to my park after a bit of a hiatus. Obviously a lot has been happening. Where's Backflip? Who's Deca?
Anyway, going to try and catch up again. Completing my pedestal collection is going to be my focus. And I need a twin Ruby egg. Sharing my Chrome in the Coop cave, and found a Scorch to breed with. If anyone else specifically wants a Twin Ruby, reply here, and I'll friend and breed with you.

Well imagine my delight when I saw a Bob Ross tribute dragon 😍 Of course I’ve already named my coral dragon Bob 😃 and my Blue Fire is called Phthalo, but does any happy Valer have one of those little Spritely dragons in their world that they don’t mind making a few happy accidents (or twins) with ?
