What is base income? Is it how much the dragon gets per minute at level 1? Because mine is under half of what it saids in the OP. Maybe the higher your level the more DC it gives?
The game clock tics over 100 times a second, 6000 times a minute, 360 000 times in an hour. The base income rate is how many ticks of the lock to earn 1 (DC for most dragons, gems for the gemstone dragons).
So a base income of 100 is 1 (DC) a second, 60 (DC) a minute, etc. Salamander has a base income rate of 725. Jade has a base income rate of 120960000.

I, of course, got a "Twin" dragon for the first tutorial breeding, but since it was a Shimmer, which I already have 2 of, I sold it rather than hatching it. DOH!! I have a few questions, and please forgive my ignorance:
1. What is the significance of having a Twin? 2. Was my first time out of the chute my only chance at a Twin? 3. Is there a way to tell what we'll get or the odds on each when we breed any of the Galaxy dragons? (Not seeing them in the Sandbox.) 4. Is my "chosen" dragon the one I choose to breed in the Cooperative Breeding Cave? If not, how do I chose my "chosen" dragon?

I took a 12-hour break from the forum to catch up on sleep lost in the Star Fall Boot Camp. Then I wake up to find this.
I have an Arturian Dragon, currently breeding with Nogard's whatchamacallit (don't look at me, I was just tapping as per tutorial, which either didn't tell me what dragon that was, or I didn't catch it. I have a lot of catching up to do). By default, the Arturian Dragon is my selected dragon. (I tried to select another, but couldn't find an option. That was when I found out it was the Arturian).
It's also only level 4. The tutorial went so fast I had no chance to keep feeding it. It wouldn't let me.
Got a lot of work lined up and this is procrastinating. I suppose I'll learn more after the 11 hours.

Just a note, my teizousatori park updated faster than expected, and the Sorarian is now available to breed. It's at level 5, I'll be getting it up to level 7 soon. Possibly up to 10, (Wow, treat farms pack a big XP punch!)
In my scarreddragon park there is also a Sorarian (I gemmed it, I couldn't wait) because a friend requested it, but I can switch back to Antarian if necessary/it seems like the rarer dragon/people request it.

The heart then turns blue. - several players can "use" the same dragon of a shared friend. - When starting a new breed in the coop, my dragon automatically is marked for others (blue-hearted) - however, meanwhile a breeding I can mark another dragon as chosen - there are five new Galaxy dragons. Each player gets one by hazard. - other Galaxy types can only be achieved by breeding my own Galaxy dragon in the coop with that other Galaxy dragon from a friend. - some breedings in the coop yield in twins, this means I get that dragon and my friend can get it too. - I do get a message if a friend of mine has achieved a twin with my dragon And the twin egg can be collected in the gift menu. - If I don't collect that egg, I don't get another twin (so my nursery isn't clogged up) - twin eggs have a blue shimmer and twin dragons have other orbs and crowns Are all theses statements right ?

Yes. As far as I know.

No. They can only be entered into the Coop Breeding Cave. You can test that now by trying to breed it with another type of dragon.

The breeding hints say any Galaxy Dragon you breed will match one of it's parents.

The breeding hints say you need two Galaxy parents to make another Galaxy.

I know of no confirmed breedings without two Monolith parents. This can now be more easily achieved through the Coop breeding cave. So yay, BFS.

Well, blarg! Very first breeding with Noggard, and I got a 40-something-long breeding. That means I don't get to play with any more breeding so for two days!

The headaches they will cause trying to get them all probably.
As I get twins, I will be replacing my baby (And thus often smaller leveled dragon) dragon with the twin. But it will necessitate spending more food.
I can confirm that a twin pedestal has the blue glow/aura.

Why not just replace regular egg pedestals with twin pedestals as you get them? The twin pedestal looks just the same with an extra glow around it. Or place the twin pedestal next to its regular pedestal. (if you really want EVERYTHING).
I've put up Dream to breed in my GCID:Vonfirmath account. Thought it was appropriate after my efforts to get that to make it my signature dragon here.

50 social breedings in my test account gave 5 twins. Small sample but it might be 1 in 10 chance.
Sorry Pixie for send a couple to you. Realised I probably shouldn't clog up your nursery until I checked with you. :-)
You only get one twin until you clear it from your mailbox. So if there are multiple twins and you don't clear it, you just don't get the latter twins. They disappear into the ether.

All friend requests accepted to date on both accounts. Reminder: gifts sent to the VP_2006 account will likely not be returned as that account is not maintained.
Random note--if you create a light dragon hybrid twin with a low leveled account (under level 21) that is not yet capable of getting light dragons normally, that account cannot collect it until they level up. But they do get the option to discard it from the gifts menu without hatching it--an option I wish all accounts had, as twins are already clogging my main nursery at times and I am not an serious egg collector. I'll try to remember to get a screen grab when it happens again.
