I had a request to make my Arcturian available again so I signed in to update my dragon. After reading that some of you still only have the original Galaxy you were gifted, I thought, "This is no good. We need to do something about this situation."
So... you've heard of gem showers? And you've heard of meteor showers? Now it's time for GALAXY SHOWERS!
Here is how you play the game: You must still have your original Galaxy as your only Galaxy. You must make your only Galaxy your blue-hearted dragon. You must not mind getting Twins. You must come on the boards and request a GALAXY SHOWER. Then keep your fingers crossed that at least you will end up with some Twin Galaxies that will get your Dragonarium smokin'!
I hope Pixie does not mind that i signed her up - in my park anyway. After a few speed ups I got a 6 hour timer. YAY! Sped it up and got the Twin notice. YAY AGAIN! Then saw it was a Quake. Hope you don't mind a Twin Quake, Pixie!
So everyone who is up for the challenge, it's SHOWER TIME!

So this thread has been created as a similar type of thing as the Gem Showers found in the Community Chest thread. dragonvale-tips.proboards.com/thread/323/dv-community-chest-next I'm sure it will get lots of use now and in the future as new Galaxy Dragons are released.
Do you mean put the recipient's info on the Home page in the News Ticker just like a Gem Shower? I LIKE IT!
As jadeitedraggyv pointed out those on the receiving end might get overwhelmed. How about we do a 24 or 48 hour cycle and rotate through those who have been having no luck in breeding? Since I started with Pixie maybe you can start the new one with James (I'm sure he won't mind!) for a day or two (or they cry, "Uncle") and then work down the list. As it progresses those who are trying for an Epic that is about to leave the Market could also be rotated through. What do you think?
Okay, James Valer is our first official recipient of our Galaxy Shower. Send a friend request to Jayjamie693 if you need to and breed a different a Galaxy Dragon with his Polarian. Let's make him regret all those posts he made about not getting any twins. 48 hours from the time of this post. Gogogogogo!

I give gems randomly to those who seem to need them because I'm not organized enough to keep a list, but I'm always looking for more Party Hat friends!

YAY! Maybe we can work though every one who is having trouble getting their second Galaxy and once everyone has two then help with people who can't get a third.
I see Pixie still can't seem to break the Anturian curse. That seems to be happening to a few players.
Up until now I have been rotating though the list for my Co-op buddy but will now concentrate on the Galaxy Shower chosen one of the moment. Yay to those who have posted that your luck has changed! Hope this list helped.
After visiting parks this morning I saw that Sharkayto has been able to breed an Arcturian on her own, not a Twin, so I removed her GCID. Congrats! Let us know if you need further help down the road.
I left Pixie and sandiplants on as they are definitely still singing the 'Antarian Blues'! I am also leaving onejoebloggs on the list for now. Yesterday I focused on onejoe and after many speedups (luckily three of them were Wisps) I was able to breed an Arcturian Twin for the both of us. I don't see it in your clogged Hatchery though so I won't remove you until I am sure it came through. Let us know.
Now to James - started focusing on you right after the onejoe Arcturian Twin and bred a Polarian which turned out not to be a Twin. Then kept breeding and speeding up multiple 6 hour dragons, none of which were Arcturian or Twins. DRAT! Then this morning hit a 40 hour breed time. ARRRGGGG! Ragnarok! Luckily Kairos will come to my aid in about 16 hours and we will find out if it is a Twin. We are not giving up on you James! NO DRAGON MASTER LEFT BEHIND!
Side note: For those of you who love the park decorating aspect of DV definately add GCID: onejoebloggs to your friend list and check out the Landing Island. Has the whole yin/yang thing going utilizing Light/Dark/ and Fancy Lamps. Quite impressive!

Didn't receive a Twin from you James but reading Pixie's post I have a feeling that she was your Co-op partner at the time the Twin struck! It's all good!
I did receive two Twins this morning - a Seaweed from gypsytart and an Arcturian from remurph90 - THANKS, kids!
As long as you are working with the one type of Galaxy that was gifted to you by the Wizards then of course! Some players just can't seem to get any Galaxy except for the one they started with.
I just sent a friend request to GCID: technofanatic so I hope that is correct. You may want to go into your Profile and in the Edit mode update the info to include your GCID, whether or not you are looking to trade Gems, and which Dragon you are offering in your Co-Op Cave. <<<<<See mine to the right.<<<<<
Galaxy Shower results, my Antarian + jamesvaler's Polarian:
1st try: 28h 30m Yay Polarian! He has one but it could use a friend. Sped up, no twin. Arrgh. 2nd try: 16h Yay Antarian! He needs that one. Sped up, no twin. Arrrggh! 3rd try: 32h Snowly. GAaahhh!

Hi all, I had trouble finding this thread. Anyhow, I believe I now have 3 galaxies (antarian, arrcturian (still a gift as I am waiting for my nursery to clear a bit), and polarian (an egg at the moment)).
I got the polariam first try using snowflake 1 (15) + polarian (10).
I had no luck with several tries at celtic (10) + bizurian (4).
Regarding twin showers : I would LOVE to get bombarded with random twins. I'd like the eggs for display

Just wanted to mention that for right now we are limiting the Galaxy Showers to those that are having trouble breeding for Galaxy Dragons. In the future we do plan to use this new Co-Op ability to help players get not only Twins but also Dragons that are expiring.

Hey Pixie, I bred my Polarian with your Antarian and got another Polarian breeding with about another 12.5 hours to go as of now, so here's hoping we get twins!
Please be patient with us as we work out how the Galaxy Shower will operate.
