Nooo! I already collected my day's worth of FFs this morning!  I guess that's what happens when I can't wait to get the Duskfall Edifice  You should still be able to get bonus fireflies from stuff that doesn't have diminishing returns! I.e. gems, breeding, party hats. At least that's how it worked during the previous events. Thanks for this! I hatched another egg to test this and got another 20. Hatched one more for 20 additional ffs for a full 80 for egg hatching, so I haven't missed out on any double payouts yet! |

Double ffs for me as well. I foolishly hatched my 40 ffs worth of eggs this morning when I got up but then remembered that it was Friday and that doubling was likely to start later in the morning, so I didn't collect any of the others. Seems like I have about a 10 hour delta between ff reset and double start time, so I should be able to get 4 separate collections for most collection categories on Sunday night and Monday morning if I plan carefully.
These things are always a learning process!

My guess would be 35ff as that would match the other epics. Agree that it's certainly the same as the other epics. I haven't hatched any other epics yet in this event (though I have a Sun dragon fail getting close as we speak). Like others I'm having trouble getting that last 2-6 ffs before reset unless I'm particularly aggressive in my tapping... |

Collected enough fireflies for the Dawn dragon tonight just after fireflies reset. Got a 5 gem achievement bonus from the wizards to help defray the rapid depletion of my stockpile. I'll have plenty to get my 40 ffs a day from gems through the event but every little bit helps. Also got 30 ffs from hatching him out. I probably would have gotten the full 40 just from the Dawn dragon, but I'd already hatched another egg for 10.
Going to bed happy!

Welcome Skitch. And may I say you have chosen a very auspicious Avatar. As I am sure wapatango will attest.  No, I must disagree. The only avatar worse than that is a pile of bones. Skitch, Since you are new, I want to warn you to keep your distance from GregDarcy. He is not only a dragon eater, but he has been known to eat people as well. He especially likes eating smart people. I think he hopes that he will gain some of their knowledge and wisdom... It hasn't worked.  Well, that's just a temporary avatar until I have time to create my own! And I may be new but I've lurked enough to know better than to get involved in a GregDarcy/wapatango skirmish! |
