My islands are in total disarray. My forest island is too cluttered. I hate my ice and fire island. My shrine island has been robbed and my colosseum island I've halfway taken apart. Two others are basically being storage space. Ugh. I'll friend you, no problem. But my islands aren't worth visiting.

I actually kinda like the island with your seasonal hab. I can't put a finger on what it is, but I like it
I really like your shrine island. I've been thinking of doing something like that. My thought was to move my eggs and have them setup based on the element. Hopefully they'll decide to release a new island one day so I can without having to redo everything

Tommy, your island with the paths has always been one of my very favorite of all the DV islands I visit. It's just like a little visitor could wander the paths through an actual little town. I really hope you never change it. And, yes, if you've ever visited my islands you might notice a slight ( ok, a great) similarity in one of my islands to this one of yours. Hope you don't mind
I finished my 4 Seasons Island. I'm happy with the way Fall and Winter turned out, but Spring and Summer need some help to distinguish them. Any ideas?
I really like your seasonal island, but my favorite of yours is your coliseum island. It's very park-like and very attractive, almost reminds me of some place I've been.
So I got a little bored and decided to do something I haven't done since the early, low level days of playing - take a stroll through my friend's parks. I have to say it took a significantly longer time that it used to. Partially due to having more friends on the list and also all the items that have been added to the game causing longer load times (especially ones with a lot of animated decorations). All the dozing off while loading and I'm sure I only have a fraction of the friends most of you fine folks have. There were a few parks that stood out an I figured I'd take a moment to mention them
Steam has one of my favorite overall parks. Each island catches my attention for its own unique reason. Your display island definitely stands out. I don't think I've ever seen so many flags but it works.
The only thing you need is more Panlongs (and cowbell).....
Kinda like how Benji needs Rainbows and Leap Years....
Another note on the Benji's (image above) is the red trees that line the outside corridor of the island. I noticed several people with this setup on one or all of the islands. I find it fascinating how people can separately come up with the same idea. One of the wonders of the human imagination I suppose.
RachB was also someone who's overall collection of islands really stood out to me. I could tell each island was painstakingly thought out and organized. To avoid posting pics of each island, I thought I'd share a single unique one.
Now, this island doesn't have the well laid out paths with something intriguing to discover behind each corner. However. I really like the warm color pallet she obtained with her combination of trees. The island just has a nice feel to it. It sort of reminds me of a flag - maybe of the DV nation?
Maid posted a pic of her recently completed Four Seasons island, but I also found a little secret she's been hiding.
This island may very well be one of my favorite individual ones. The layout just really comes off as what I'd imagine a real coliseum would be. You could definitely find me tailgating in one of the grassy nooks before enjoying the games of the arena!
The last (but not least) park I visited was Cyber's. Once again here is a park with a well thought out layout. Each island deserves its own recognition but I narrowed down a few items of focus.
I would acknowledge that Cyber does have some better setups on other islands but I chose this one for a simple reason. I thought it was creative how he lined the separate treasure habitats with gold and marble pathways to symbolize the Gold and Silver dragons respectfully. I felt this was a prime example how a small detail can really bring home a vision.
In addition to the small details, there is always room for the grand, in-your-face displays of awesomeness.
I really like how Cyber chose to setup his egg display here. It's obviously well thought out and laid out in a nice grid. You can tell he has a plan for each egg and has elemental flags in place for the ones he is waiting to obtain. Nice job. Cyber also had all of his dragons in baby form which is the first time I've seen and thought was nice.
Well that concludes my time here. I appreciate y'all taking the time to share this journey with me. I do have to acknowledge that I saw many more islands of noteworthy measure. Unfortunately, I had to try and avoid a 10page graphic novel. I apologize to any and everyone who wasn't individually mentioned. It definitely isn't because your vision and creativity wasn't enjoyed in my adventure. Keep those ideas flowing. I'm sure, like me, your parks are always a work in progress. I view them as a living organism - always evolving (I suspect from a dingo). Thanks again to everyone for reading and especially for creating some magical parks for our dragon friends.
PS. I noticed that a few people actually were holding on to over a billion pieces of gold! One wasn't even level 40. I wonder what the exchange rate is for US $. :-)

Thanks for the tours, Cobus. It was great to see some different parks since you have a few different friends than I. It is interesting how the same elements can be used to different effects, a testimony to the imagination & creativity of DV players.
