Interestingly, we have many of the players making you crash In common and they do also crash with me, and that, even if I leave them aside and come back after having visited others. One strange case is iUli, she has not played in ages, no changes at all etc, and it crashes everytime when I leave her outpost. I visit outposts not following the list but visit first the active ones and when done, i go back and take the non active ones, sometimes starting at the end of the list then going up, sometimes by "sections". However, the crashes occur for the same ones.

It's not likely the crashing outposts are followed by the same exact outpost from friend-to-friend, so my theory of moving chilipepper somewhere else on my list would most likely not be helpful.
I'm not understanding why there are differences in crashes. Why did it crash after LynneO one day, but not the next? Why were there 6 additional crashes? Will those same 6 crash again today?
Pixie, please go ahead and unfriend me. Then add me back (I hope
I'm eager to see how the experiment goes.
Lol, of course I want to add you back! Going to delete you now , we'll see where it puts you back into the list and if it makes a difference in crashing.
Here goes.......
Edit: Unfriended, went to GN and got an error, closed down the app, reopened and you are out of the list.
Have sent FR. Fingers crossed this fixes this one crash.

Just accepted your fr.
Very interesting....it put you right back into the same spot on my list. I don't believe it is your outpost that is causing the crash, think it is the person listed above the crash line.
In your case I finish sweeping at Mldc17, hit the home button and instant crash. There is no crash after you, you just happen to be next in line.
Debstoy, as you are above the line and an active member here, we need to try this with you. Are you game?

Pixie, this makes me wonder if we are all defining crashed the same way. All my crashes occur on exiting an outpost. So when I say Debstoy's outpost crashes, I mean that I visit her and then the crash occurs when I exit. This happens no matter what order I visit.
Outposts that are now crashing each time I exit them are:
Usctrojan was crashing every time until today. I saw a timer on that outpost today for the first time in awhile. And rynoster crashed several times yesterday but not today. Rynoster is a new friend (hi rynoster!) but usctrojan has been on my list since i first started playing.

Sure Pixie. I'm game for anything. I find it interesting I just started crashing after Debstoy a couple of days ago and debsiphone started crashing yesterday. I am not sure it has to do with list placement but go ahead and delete me then add me back.

Although we have different people on our lists, the order appears the same on mine, and you were slotted right back where you were before being temporarily deleted.
Yes, defining crashing so we are all talking about the same thing is important. Crashing when leaving an outpost is what we are talking about.
Just went to usctrojan, the past 2 days has crashed when leaving. Today there was no crash, and like you said, there was new activity.
.Shantel. was a new crash for me yesterday and there was activity. It crashed again today, again there had been activity.
Maybe if we make a list of crashing outposts we can submit the GCID's to BFS to see if they can figure it out.

Hey Deb, I'm wondering if the latest crashing is related to all if the redecorating we've been doing on our drop zones. Your outposts didn't start crashing until a few days ago.

GCID debstoy
I'll temporarily delete both accounts and then re-add, and visit.
Having both your accounts crashing made me wonder if it has anything to do with the device being used? If those appearing on the list would tell us what device they are using, and the software version, it might be helpful.
Ya know Chili that could be, moving the stuff around like that may have been to much for the server to find the collection points. Lol even though it is easier for us.
Here is the other thing with the crashing. Occasionally, after the crash I find someone has visited. So now I delete the cache for Gizmos every time it crashes to see if someone has visited.
However, today I think BFS has some serious issues. I could not visit anyone this morning like I usually do and just now started my visits. Every other person and sometimes every person is crashing. So bad that the last time I got back in my friends list was gone! I decided to try later.
Yes I am crashing on some of the same ones as you Pixie. Yesterday was good as I did the slow visits and hit go home very few crashes. Today either hitting home or friends list and it crashes......
On another note, still no news from BFS on stuck goals. Sent him a note asking for status a few minutes ago.
I think the solution is for everyone to play on the newest-generation iPad. Do you think BFS will send each of us one since we're such loyal fans?
I had so many crashing issues on my iPad 1st Generation. When I received the newest iPad for Christmas my crashing issues went away. I found out from Apple that the older iPads do not have enough RAM to handle these high memory games like DV and Gizmo. I hope that this info helps those members having trouble. You can always take your iPads to Apple Genius Bar and they can possibly retool your older devices and/or give you info to help you out.

Trying to keep them in the order they appear in our lists, and again, I want to stress these outposts are doing nothing wrong.
Hey Pixie. Sorry to read that your game was crashing during your visit to my Outpost. I have not had any crashing issues while visiting Outposts. I was having crashing issues with my iPad1, but received the newest latest greatest iPad for Christmas and no crashing at all. Apple has informed me that the older iPads do not have enough RAM to handle high memory games like Gizmo and DV alike. Maybe ask the members what current device they are working from. This will be a question BFS will ask when you inquire about Gizmo and DV crashing issues. If members are using the latest devices then they may want to check if any other applications are sucking up their RAM. I recommend that members who are using Apple devices make appointment with Apple Genius Bar and get help there if crashing issues are plaguing them. I did and got a wealth of info and help. I will make notes if I have any crashes in Gizmo Outpost visitations.

Re those problems, maybe we didn t pay enough attention to the typo on the banner which we get whilst the friends outpost loads. It says: Visit your friend's park for cash bonuses ... But it should read: Visit your friend's park for CRASH bonuses ....

Thanks for the suggestion. I have the 32G 3rd generation iPad, the one just before the Mini was released, should think that should handle GN. Also, I close down all background apps when visiting, still get 16-21 crashes every time through the outposts. Will take it with me the next time we travel into town and see what they have to say.
Just went through and deleted a bunch of apps I never even look at. Perhaps that will help, we'll see.
