I think they changed the rules of the game. Don't think we can speed up the Baby Bot Station for our neighbors any more.
Yes, I now have the Baby Bot Blues (think Wedding Bell Blues by the 5th Dimension). I don't think that was a good idea on BFS' part to remove the Friend speed up for the Baby Bot Station.
I guess it is a bottleneck they want for encouraging gem purchases.
If you add me, I'd happily speed it up! (unless it can't be sped-) I placed my Quadrillum next to my breeding grounds..
I did and you've accepted already!! Gee, you're quick!!! Dammit, I really need to get back to work now ... Please don't chatter too much before I can come back, takes me ages to get caught up!

I couldn't find you in the friends list though... even though I've close and restarted the app twice already!
Saw the following message from BFS on their Gizmonauts page: Who's hungry? We just made a few changes to the Gizmonauts Snax including some new food options and a new high-level Snax Shop at Level 15. Enjoy!

As another former World of Warcraft addict, let me try and shed some light about the arena.
From what I've seen so far, this is how it works:
As you know, you get to choose two bots, one main and a support one.
As the main one, you should choose a melee type and as support, a ranged bot.
A melee is a bot that is good on close combat, "hand to hand". It hits hard and can usually take some good hits before it dies, but has troubles attacking from afar.
A ranged bot, on the other hand, is much weaker, and will die easily if placed in the main role. It's strength it's either his ability to heal the other bot, like the repair does, or that he can actually do decent damage from afar.
So if you want to know which place to put your bots, and how to team them, pay attention to their attacks during the match...
It might be good to compile a list, so it's easier for everyone.
Pixie - on pro boards this link takes me to a post from Fletch. I didn't see any table on the page . . . do I need to access it online? Or am I just being dense and totally missing something? Thanks.

Odd, that link takes me right to my own post. Weird. Should like like this -

1) Open your bot's info once they reach LEVEL 5 2) Check what gizmos they have available 3) Gizmos will tell you what type of bot they are (most of the time) 4) If you see the word MELEE, this should be your first bot chosen 5) If you see the word RANGED, this should be your second bot chosen
WHAT TO LOOK FOR:
MELEE = Increases damage, close range (first bot should have this) RANGED = Increases damage, far range (second bot should have this) ARMOR = Higher defense rate, means your bot will take less damage when hit SPEED = Increase for who attacks first, you or game HEALTH = Increase in bot health CHARGE DAMAGE = Increase of damage during a CHARGE hit CHARGE SPEED = Increase the rate of CHARGE bar - increases the rate of how fast the RED bar / bottom bar charges up
* The more PLUS signs the better
GLANCE = The hit your bot made on your opponent was weak and hits for lower than normal damage CRITICAL = The hit your bot made on your opponent was strong and hits for higher than normal damage CHARGE = RED bar is at maximum. More damage than CRITICAL
RED NUMBERS = Damage your bots are taking GREEN NUMBERS = Healing your bots are receiving (must have a healing type bot such as the REPAIR bot

Thank you so much! Am going to have to print this and keep for reference. Appreciate your taking the time.

Also, do you know anything about type-weakness/strengths of the different type matchups?

Mmmm... tasty robot snax.
They changed most of the food; for instance, 15k now only gives 800 and the time dropped from 9h to 6h.

Thanks so much!!!! I made a screen shot to keep. I was putting two of the same type in the arena.

I'm still compiling info. The REPAIR bot seems to beat my GRINDER bot badly. I lost 3 times in a row to REPAIR bots when the game has them out first/in front

I liked the 9 hour time. It was a perfect overnight one.
And at level 15 there will be a new high level snack shop according to BFS. I'm assuming an upgrade.
The green bar is the health bar, when it's depleted the bot faints and gets removed from combat.
I'm still trying to figure out the red bar, but it seems some sort of power up, that increases with successful attacks and might increase the damage dealt when full, not sure about this one though.
Top bar is the health of your bot. The less bar equals less health.
Bottom bar is a charge rate which can increase damage. I'm still testing the bottom bar, but the rumor is that once the Red bar reaches capacity, you get a special charge hit on your opponent. I have not seen this, but I'll keep checking.
madzix beat me to it.
Also be aware that certain bots are more effective against other bots. Rather like opposite dragons in DV. Like FIRE versus COLD, FIRE would win; but WATER versus FIRE, WATER would win
Faint...I like faint. I'd been thinking the bots died
So it seems we're playing a more complicated form of rock, paper, scissors. Am I getting closer?
I'm having trouble identifying new baby bots - and just how many are there?
There were some images in a post a page or so back, but my baby, waiting in the hatchery doesn't look like any of them - and it doesn't look like any of them in the bot section of the market either!

Oh wow, that's awesome!
...I'm still waiting to hit lv 10...Trying to get as many bot hybrids (especially a 2nd franken) before that!

Is there a complete set of pictures anywhere?

Look at my post on the first page of this thread, that is the easiest place for the table I'm updating. Not complete, and I can't find a place that has a complete chart, but I'm working on it.
I just love the way I think I've a long wait for something to happen - only to find that a couple of visitors have just about reduced the time to zero!
Wish I could leave out coffee and my home made lemon cake for you, by way of a thank you.
Love all the new features BFS have incorporated in this game. Had a weird thing when I opened the app just now though, screen started flashing like a strobe light, kinda worried cause I do have epilepsy but, yeah, has anyone else experienced this?
I have come across a bad thing. In the last hour, I've sold 2 bots. One directly from the Baby Bot Station, and the other I placed in a habitat then sold after being at the Baby Bot Station.
The baby bot sold directly from the Baby Bot Station did not provide experience, but only coins.
The baby bot sold after being placed showed both coins and experience gained (meaning floating numbers) when sold.
Has anyone else had this happen?
