I adore this game, probably to an unhealthy degree, but I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it: players should absolutely not buy devices for the sole purpose of playing this game. If you need the device to do other things (like make phone calls — can you imagine?! — who does that?) then fine, but making a $500 - $1000+ purchase on a 3-4GB iDevice for any app is never worth it with the uncertainty of an app’s longevity, or if you’ll even be using it in a year (lots of players take a break from DV). Future you will thank you for refraining from a reckless purchase.
If the DV crashes were fixed, I’d feel differently, but the bandaid approach to resolving the March crashes with low resolution mode demonstrated that this may likely be the approach taken in the future with other bugs. While I’m very grateful we were given the option of low resolution and not permanently force into it, I’d much prefer if this was a temporary measure while BFS worked on the crashes. I asked BFS if they were doing this, or if low res was the solution. They said this is it. If you’re still experiencing crashes in low resolution, then power cycle your device, close other apps, etc (they offered the same list of things you can do to your device that they’ve recommended for years, even though the problem isn’t with your device, it’s with the March update and the game).
Every day I wonder if today is the day I’ve passed DV’s capacity and crashes will return. It’s a very uncertain, unsteady place to be. And it’s a bit unfair that players have been put in this wobbly place, teetering on unplayable crashes or worse, already experiencing frequent crashes. So I cannot recommend buying a pricy device to play this game, because it’s only a matter of time before that new device has fallen to a bug that won’t be fixed or is in DV crashville — then will you buy another newer device?
Precisely how I feel. I've said it before, the reason I'm here is that my work required a second screen that couldn't be too big, so an iPad fit the bill (and was duly amortized). At the time, DV was THE game for graphic designers appreciating creativity - though when the ghosts came out, there was a general sensation of the Vale running out of fuel.
Now the word is obsolescence - we deal with it, and I don't see why BFS can't deal with it. That's part of creativity, too. Otherwise, you'll be getting newbie game-shoppers all the time (no offense meant) who'll drop it like a hot potato the minute they start to get the sensation it's only out for the bucks like all the others. I appreciate the point that creators have to survive and DO chip in with purchases. But it's not exactly a question of "investing" (money and sentiment) on a game that continually raises doubts about whether you still ought to be around tomorrow.
It really does seem like a personality split with the developers of this game. You have penny pinching things like the recent events where you can't possible get everything without spending $$, and then we get stuff like Gaia leveling (which is equivalent of getting free gems each time you incubate that you can't even spend $$ on to level faster) or releasing the Chrysalis dragons so soon after the event.
A few days ago I was sort of forced to go into low resolution as the game would nt want to start up and subsequently it proposed to go into kiw resolution. Since then no crashes anymore but the joy of watching the parks is drastically diminished. Also I wonter, when they go on managing things so badly will we be proposed to go on "outline only mode"? 😳
I am now living just for Outline Only Mode. Cannot wait till this option is added to the game and saves us from crashes, for maybe a couple weeks. Absolutely hilarious!

And I also find it strange that after buying the 27th island so I could offload some of my 45 billion cash, clearing every rock and tree from the island cost me absolutely nothing at all! What's the idea there with such sudden and sublime generosity?
Okay, bear with me. I'm officially whining for my Faux. WEEKS since the event and three breeding sites dedicated. Nada. Since whining has worked before, hear me gods of whine! Sniff, for good measure.
About the polling for this new dragon. We are calling a fluffy pink dragon fury?
Of the name choices I thought "Abomination" was a horrible choice, but now that you put it that way, fluffy pink Apocalypse dragon, maybe "Abomination" would be good.
So the Galaxy Egg of Mystery has returned to the Rift store. I take it there’s no Rigel to be hatched. But Rigel is breedable. Also, Snowflake, Monolith, and Chrysalis mystery eggs are available. Prices are still at the same soaring cost.
And there are a few Starfall stars in my park, but no border around the flag bearer icon... there may therefore be treasure chests and other random remnants... fossick, fossick 😄 Now back to fruitless trying for a Trilobite and Rigel and Pearlescent... yay😈
🐨🐨🐨 everyone!
on the Rules for Rigel
I read on another site that you ALSO have to have all Rift Galaxy dragons, not just Vale G dragons, in your park ... not sure, and does ‘in your park’ mean out of both hib caves...🧐🤨🤔

I'm pretty sure you just need any versions of the dragons, and that they can even be in your gifts menu or hatchery.
WARNING! Do not waste E buying the Chrysalis Mystery Eggs. I am missing nine (9) Rifted Chrysalis Dragons, 10 Twin Rifted Chrysalis Dragons, and most of the pedestals. I used E to buy two of the Mystery Eggs and was given two Twin Eggs which I already had both dragon and pedestal. I promptly sold them off. What a waste!

None of the mystery eggs guarantee a dragon you don't own (except the login rewards), but the chrysalis eggs today only contain the original 7 chrysalis dragons and none of the new ones.

Perhaps if we both whine for a Faux one of us might be successful. I've been trying everywhere for Faux as well with no luck.

I searched around but I can't find Rigel's primary elements.
